Dr. James Dobson, Focus on the Family founder and advisor to 5 presidents, dead at 89  Dr. James Dobson, founder of the Focus on the Family Christian ministry and former advisor to five U.S. presidents, has died at 89.
Dobson, a psychologist widely regarded as one of the most influential Christian leaders of the past half-century, passed away Thursday morning, the Dr. James Dobson Family Institute (JDFI) announced.
"Dr. Dobson was a pioneer — a man of deep conviction whose voice shaped the way generations view faith, family, and culture," said Gary Bauer, senior vice president of public policy at the JDFI. Image

Legendary Evangelical Leader and Founder of Focus on the Family Dr. James Dobson Passes Away At 89, Dobson was still doing what he loved, broadcasting biblical values from his stately office in Colorado Springs that includes a majestic view of Pike's Peak. And like Pike's Peak, which towers more than 14,000 feet over the city, Dobson said one thing remains paramount over all else—teaching your children to love the Lord.
"There's nothing more important than introducing them to Jesus Christ," Dobson said. "If you don't get that done and they die in an unrepentant state, according to my theology, you never see them again. Boy, if that doesn't put it in perspective... so to have an opportunity to influence those families is a great thrill for me."

7,000 Christians have been killed in Nigeria this year, group says  Nigeria has long been an epicenter of Christian persecution, with more Christians killed for their faith in Nigeria than in the rest of the world combined, according to human rights organization Open Doors, which monitors the persecution of Christians around the globe.

Here’s A Pile Of Evidence Lockdowns Would Never Have Happened Without Corporate Media  “The more fear, the more ‘seriously’ you took COVID, the more virtuous you were and the more you raised your status among other progressives or Democrats,” Zweig notes. So millions of American children had to suffer. Millions of poor children and children with disabilities had to wear masks, be left alone, and miss years of school.
Now there’s a school absenteeism crisis reaching record levels. American young people today possess the lowest average level of knowledge and skills in U.S. history. That’s a serious national problem amid record debt that our mentally and economically handicapped rising generations are expected to pay off.

Instead of being open and honest about the vaccine’s limitations, government doubled down and directed their anger at the small, unvaccinated minority as covid cases began to rise. Forgetting that you were only classed as vaccinated two weeks after your second jab, President Biden lied about the data, telling Americans in a news conference that ‘there was only one confirmed positive case per 5,000 fully vaccinated.’ It was ‘a pandemic of the unvaccinated’, he said...
...Follow the Silenced shows in forensic detail how all valid attempts to raise the alarm were silenced, and shamefully, how those who ‘did the right thing’ were attacked when it all went wrong. Clinical pathologist Ryan Cole sums up the situation. He says: ‘If you want to know what’s going on, follow the money. If you want to know the truth, look at who’s being silenced.’ Full movie here

Antisemitism Is Proliferating in Our Public Schools...Jews face discrimination in many K-12 schools and colleges     Nationally, 83% of Jewish college students have experienced or witnessed some form of antisemitism since the October 2023 Hamas attacks on Israel, according to a recent poll.
Anti-Jewish bigotry also exists in K-12 schools. In late 2024, the Sequoia Union High School District in California’s Silicon Valley faced a lawsuit over widespread antisemitism experienced by students, with administrators standing by and allowing it to worsen. When SUHSD parents and students raised concerns—through emails, petitions, and formal complaints—the District responded with “bureaucratic obfuscation and outright denial, demonstrating a deliberate indifference to SUHSD’s Jewish students. Emails were ignored, and meetings were canceled without explanation,” the lawsuit states. Image

Business education’s embrace of social activism is another example of an institution abandoning its core mission. Just as many journalism schools now emphasize advocacy over objectivity and law schools prioritize social justice over legal reasoning, business schools are redefining their purpose from understanding markets to changing society.

Evil Flourishes in our Public Schools When Good Citizens Do Nothing  Taxpayer-funded schools have decreed that biology is now bigotry, and you will pay the price if you don’t bow to the new trans religion. Three high school boys found out the hard way. They were secretly videoed in their own locker room by a female student who “identified” as a boy – a condition the school promotes no matter whose privacy is violated or which laws are broken.

Schools Are Finally Tackling The Greatest Threat To American Children  School districts in states like California, Colorado, Georgia, Maine, Ohio, Texas, Florida, Louisiana, South Carolina, Utah, and Virginia are banning the use of cell phones in some capacity during the school day. This is not an exhaustive list, as thousands of school districts in at least 22 states across the country have implemented technology policies that restrict access to personal devices. However, it shows that, across political lines, there is a growing understanding that unfettered access to technology has been detrimental to our children.

Drop Box Camera Catches Ballot Stuffing In Fraud-Plagued Michigan Town  Voting in person is the simple remedy to this kind of election fraud. As we see here, a surveillance camera is no deterrent to cheating. Municipalities that provide an unmanned drop box offer the means for corrupt individuals to vote more than once using fake or forged ballots. The U.S. managed to conduct elections without drop boxes and mail-in voting before COVID. For secure elections, we must stop providing this opportunity for fraud. Screenshot

Fighting back: Americans flood the system and crash the entire foreign-worker pipeline…  For years now, corporate elites and their buddies in The Swamp have locked Americans out of good jobs by rigging the hiring system so cheap foreign labor can help line their pockets. They’ve built an underground pipeline that pretends to “recruit” US workers while actually funneling the positions to cheap H1-B workers. The whole scheme runs on secrecy, red tape, and the government’s flat-out refusal to enforce the law.
But now, The jig is up. Americans have had enough, and they’re fighting back. Thousands of American workers are now flooding these rigged job postings and exposing the bald-faced lie that there are “no qualified US workers.”
US workers are jamming up the PERM process, exposing the big con and forcing the truth about the rigged system out into the open. This is what it looks like when ordinary American workers finally fight back.

Work Permits for Foreign College Grads Are ‘Depressing Wages‘  In 2024, roughly 640,000 foreign students and graduates had approval to get work permits, including the 400,000 who reported that they had started work.
Many of the foreigners are quickly hired into career-track jobs via discriminatory, ethnic-hiring networks in Fortune 500 companies. These ethnic hiring networks are rooted in foreign countries — such as India — but are rarely noticed by the Justice Department’s employment and civil rights lawyers.

How Fauci and a Deep State Cabal Suppressed Intel in Historic Deception   Senior American intelligence officials broke protocol to conceal classified intelligence that COVID-19 came from a lab from the president and the public, granting Anthony Fauci’s inner circle extraordinary influence while silencing their own spy scientists, a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation found.
Evidence pointing to a lab leak included signals intelligence collected from Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leaders in 2019 between Beijing and Wuhan revealing a major emergency, one former official told the DCNF. An increasingly political deep state concealed it from President Donald Trump during the first two months of the pandemic, deflecting blame from China as political rival Joe Biden sought to lay responsibility for the pandemic squarely at Trump’s feet.

US covid report shames Britain’s redundant, ridiculous Hallett Inquiry  The detail of the US report on lockdowns, school closures, face mask mandates and vaccine mandates, which it says not only did not help but probably did more harm than good (an understatement given the evidence), is worth perusing in full. The contrast with Hallett’s ‘doubling down’ is startling!
The US report also concludes that the worth of the jabs was very much exaggerated and that corruption was involved. As Malone and Lataster highlight, it makes clear that there was a ‘co-ordinated effort to ignore natural immunity’. It identifies that correct information was mislabelled as misinformation, especially by authorities, and from the top down.

American Academy Of Pediatrics Pushes COVID-19 Vax For All Infants   In stark contrast to reality, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) - which is heavily funded by pharmaceutical companies, recommended on Tuesday that young children, including infants, receive the COVID-19 vaccine despite the fact that children are minimally impacted by the virus, the fact that the vaccine doesn't prevent one from contracting it, and that it largely only helps the elderly and medically fragile from severe cases.

These Days, ‘Christian Nationalist’ Means Nothing More Than Faithful and Conservative  The left has made up its mind that any conservative Christian is a dangerous “Christian nationalist.” Do you believe in the biblical creation order? You’re a “Christian nationalist.” Do you think marriage should be between one man and one woman? Ah, “Christian nationalist.” But bigger still: Did you vote for Donald Trump? You better believe that you’re a “Christian nationalist.”...
...The left has a new favorite insult: “Christian nationalist.” They slap the label on anyone who believes in biblical truth and votes conservative — no nuance, no honesty, just smear.

Minnesota joins slew of states suing TikTok for allegedly preying on young people with addictive algorithms   Minnesota is seeking a declaration that TikTok’s practices are deceptive, unfair or unconscionable under state law, a permanent injunction against those practices, and up to $25,000 for each instance in which a Minnesota child has accessed TikTok. Ellison wouldn’t put a total on that but said, “it’s a lot.” He estimated that “hundreds of thousands of Minnesota kids” have TikTok on their devices.

JB Pritzker’s mandated ‘mental health screenings’ for school children is a data grab, not compassion  SB1560 isn’t about helping kids. It’s about expanding a system that thrives on labeling them, funneling them into programs they don’t need, and handing their most private information over to bureaucrats and corporations. It’s about normalizing dependency on the State while sidelining parents – the very people who should be guiding their children through life’s challenges

Nolte: Trump to Sign Executive Order Outlawing Mail-in Ballots   There is no question that mail-in ballots invite and allow for massive fraud, or that Democrat-run states and cities have no incentive to clean up the fraud when they benefit from that fraud. But when the locals allow for this kind of cheating, the result is the disenfranchisement of other voters… and that is a civil rights violation… and it is the jurisdiction of the FEDERAL government to ensure our civil rights.

Palestinian Authority Columnist: Christian Traditions are ‘Nonsense,’ ‘Jesus Belongs to the Palestinians’  The idea that Jesus was a Palestinian first came from Yasser Arafat, the infamous head of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, which was created by the Arab League for the purpose of destroying Israel in 1964. Arafat was a jihadist, a propagandist trained by the KGB and bankrolled by the Soviet Union. It isn’t surprising that Jesus would be presented as the poor Palestinian, a Bedouin; this idea was a creation of Arafat that is accepted by far too many leftists today. Who could forget the late Pope Francis’ unveiling of a nativity scene of Jesus in a crib lined with a Palestinian keffiyeh last December. Screenshot

Want people to go to Church? Invite them. Want them to stay? Invite them into your life.  The Church’s task, then, is not to simply integrate itself with modern American life, marketing itself as one lifestyle choice among many. Nor is it to retreat from the world. The Church’s call is to repair the remains of modern life. The U.S. is aching for a different way of life. Only the Church can offer that alternative. The Church must engage in a grand political project. She must reform a people accustomed to consumption. The Church must see itself as the source and center of cultural renewal. She must take responsibility for resolving the atomisation we all experience because no one else will. Consequently, the Church should think of cultural engagement less through cognitive, propositional, and “winsome” terms, and more towards an approach that prioritizes making Church essential to communal life. The Church that hosts community fairs and car shows is doing cultural repair. The Church that models strong, healthy families, which encourage women to pour into each other, for men to sharpen one another, and for both to have more children than they can afford is waging a culture war. The Church that has its families cheerfully open their homes cultivates commitment to one another through thick and thin is conducting a cultural insurgency.

Trump Administration Considers Immigration Ban on Muslim Brotherhood and Other Islamic Groups   The leftist-Islamic alliance is now thoroughly embedded in governments all over the Western world, even as Trump now seeks to confront the Muslim Brotherhood in restricting temporary visits and legal immigration by Muslims affiliated with the group. It is only a beginning, but one that is necessary to begin to confront this problem that has been left to fester all over the Western world. The group is also well versed in Western laws and lawfare, and so it is an arduous process to confront its operatives.

One of President Donald Trump’s biggest political strengths is his unpredictability. He refuses to follow the rules of the Washington establishment, and in doing so, he keeps both his domestic opponents and foreign adversaries constantly off balance.
While most presidents telegraph their intentions months in advance, Trump often operates behind the scenes, distracting the media with comments that trigger hours of frenzied speculation on cable news panels. He has joked about buying Greenland, pondered serving a third term, and thrown barbs at world leaders, not as random outbursts, but as part of a deliberate strategy to shape and steer the political narrative.

“During fiscal year 2022 alone, we got almost 13,000 religious accommodation requests,” she told the DCNF, noting the requests made up 20% of the agency’s discrimination charges.

We don’t care about schools being overrun or rising crime; these hordes of illegals will be good for you, because we know best. DHS made clear that President Trump and Secretary Kristi Noem remain committed to protecting Americans and removing dangerous criminals from the nation. Screenshot

Looking further at the scene in the West, and especially in America, Guinness rounds off the chapter with these ominous words:
"At the end of the line, the worst-case scenario for America would be a merger between two movements: cultural Marxism (or wokeism), the revolutionary ideology at the radical left; and progressivism, the ideology of the ruling elites of the managerial regime. As each party seeks to co-opt the other for its own purposes, they would together create an almost irresistible trend towards oligarchic one-party politics and a centralized and administrative state that could grow into a woke Leviathan. . . . The result would be a one-party state and a perfect match for Benito Mussolini’s infamous formulation of his own fascist government: “Everything within the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State. His fascist regime is said to have been the first to declare itself totalitarian.
Were this dread specter of a society totally engineered by the state to materialize further, a newly radicalized America would take its place next to a long-radicalized China, and together, these two autocracies, one soft and one hard, would tower over humanity and the world as a two-headed superpower despotism, the likes of which the world has not seen in the modern era – as if Stalin and Hitler had won at the same time and formed a lasting alliance of dictators." The Least Attended Church Gathering...

At the church I pastor, we have a regular gathering that serves as a monthly prayer meeting on the last Sunday of every month. The other times of prayer in the life of our church occur in our morning worship service and during our weekly/bi-weekly small groups. Most of the time, our monthly prayer meeting is fairly well attended. I suspect that it is, at least in part, due to the fact that we have a meal. However, it is a sad reality of the church in the Western world that the prayer meeting is "the least attended church gathering." I have experienced this sad reality first hand as a member of a church of 1000+ where 8 to 10 people would show up for the weekly prayer meeting. It didn't take me long to realize that prayerlessness is one of the foremost sins and symptoms of an anemic church.

---------------------------

Paul reminds us that "God is not a God of disorder but of peace" (1 Corinthians 14:33). Paul isn’t calling for worship services under rigid, pharisaical control. Instead, we should pursue the confident freedom and musical agility that comes through disciplined preparation. Through faith-filled planning (dream!) and reality-packed preparation (dread!), worship leaders can embrace (faith!) both order and spontaneity, structure and Spirit-led moments.
May we approach worship leadership with renewed appreciation for how preparation enables Spirit-led spontaneity. As we plan thoughtfully, prepare thoroughly, and present worship skillfully, may we help God’s people to celebrate the gospel in fresh and compelling ways.

Psalm 121 (I Lift My Eyes)

Psalm 121 (I Lift My Eyes)
Kristyn Getty, Jordan Kauflin, Matt Merker

I lift my eyes up to the Hills
From where does my help come?
My help comes from the Maker of
The heavens and the earth
He will not let my foot be moved
He keeps my journey safe

CHORUS
O my soul, praise the Lord most high
Strong to save, He upholds my life
Forevermore, He will be my light
I lift my eyes up to the Lord most high

He is the shade at my right hand
My shelter in the storm
No sun by day, nor moon by night
Shall ever bring me harm
He will not slumber, will not sleep
He watches all my ways

CHORUS

I lift my eyes up to the hills
From where does my help come
My help comes from the Maker of
The heavens and the earth
The God of Isr’l is my guide
Wherever I may go
And in His strength I will abide
Until He leads me home

Pastors Face Congregational Shift Toward ‘Two-Timing’ Churchgoers  While church attendance in the U.S. has remained stable and even increased after the COVID-19 pandemic, pastors are facing a new challenge of dealing with worshipers who adopt more than one denomination or congregation as their “home” church.
According to a national survey published in June by the project on Exploring the Pandemic Impact on Congregations (EPIC), a staggering 46% of worshipers regularly attend or view multiple church services online, and 7% identify as having more than one “home” church.
Approximately one in five Christians who regularly participate in worship services elsewhere are doing so within a different denomination or faith tradition.

And for aspirational A.I. developers, Rationalist events have become essential networking opportunities.

By Dr. Kendall Conger
Lest there be any misunderstanding, let me be clear: Everyone I know is opposed to racism, bias, and hate, but Duke distorted those words to indict white doctors and nurses for complicity in the poorer health outcomes of black patients.
My own form of resistance began in 2018 when Duke’s chief diversity officer gave a talk on implicit bias at a physicians’ meeting. I was shocked by what I heard. For the previous six years, I had been secluded from the world, working weekends in the ER while spending the week homeschooling my children. I was blithely unaware that academia had shifted from a love of Western civilization (a mandatory course when I was in college) to a disdain. The diversity officer told us that “society can be broken up into two groups, the oppressors (those with power - essentially, white males) and the oppressed.” With stunned incredulity, I wondered, “Who thinks like this?”  Excellent read!

National Suicide Is Better Than Rudeness...Would Europe rather be polite than alive?  Why do the Netherlands, Sweden, and Germany have a big explosion problem? Why were thousands of girls assaulted in the UK? Why were over 1,000 women and girls assaulted in Germany on New Year’s Eve? Why are cartoonists murdered in France? Why are churches turning into mosques all across the continent? Because Europeans are letting it happen.
Unlike the zombies and vampires, this horror story is real. Europe is letting itself be colonized, assaulted and killed because the alternative is the stigma of violating perceived social norms.
There is a species of politeness that requires not seeing what is going on around us until it’s too late. In the twentieth century, clearly spelling out the evils of Nazism and Communism was seen as rude. The gentlemanly thing to do was to believe that war was unnecessary and unneeded. By the time the wake-up calls arrived, courtesy of Hitler and Stalin, it was almost too late.

Because outrage, not accuracy, is the goal. The narrative is set: Israel must be blamed, no matter the evidence...

Because Washington stands in a unique relationship with congressional and executive power, it is also appropriate that the national capital be a showcase of law and order, not the morass of “restorative justice” and the latest liberal pipe dreams of “criminal justice reform” that exacerbate crime.  Therein lies the real liberal objection: If Donald Trump can make an example out of Washington, it calls into question the “policing reform” and “criminal justice” agendas of crime-ridden major cities, potentially auguring political realignments there that liberals do not want to see.
Yes, the talking heads attacking Trump cited other cities as being more crime-ridden.  You do have a better chance getting murdered in Detroit than D.C.  But national tourism to Detroit hardly mirrors D.C., and most Americans don’t want to die in either.  So let’s stop the “lies, damn lies, and statistics” and address the reality of what’s behind this opposition: pursuing political ambition and defending failed policies.

Then there’s the fact that the head of the D.C. police union praised Trump’s takeover of law enforcement.
“We stand with the president in recognizing that Washington, D.C., cannot continue on this trajectory,” said union chair Gregg Pemberton. “Crime is out of control, and our officers are stretched beyond their limits.”
By ignoring all this, the press is knowingly spreading misinformation about what is happening in the city as part of its own campaign to brand Trump a liar.

The Fight Against Transgender Surgery on Children Scores Two Major Victories in One Week  The last three months may, in retrospect, be seen as the turning point of the transgender craze. A solid majority of states forbid using drugs and surgery to create transgender kids. That number will probably add three or four more states to its number. Without any hope of a legal victory, and if we get another couple of administrations like the current one, which are not afraid to use the clout of the Justice Department to enforce the protection of women's sports and intimate spaces, this entire crazed social contagion could very well slink back into the shadows.

The United States is locked in a technological arms race the likes of which we haven’t seen since the Cold War — except this time, America is losing. This is a tough pill to swallow, but we must face reality: China is surpassing the United States in nearly every critical technology of the future.
China has a stranglehold over one technology in particular: batteries. After several decades of massive government subsidies, the Chinese have taken control over mineral supply chains that batteries rely on and have patented the technology needed to construct them in mass quantities and at minimum prices. As a result, nearly 85% of global battery cell production capacity belongs to China.
This dominance is a national security and economic risk for the United States.

Trump himself has been vocal about the need for immediate action. In a post on Truth Social, he declared, “The Homeless have to move out, IMMEDIATELY. We will give you places to stay, but FAR from the Capital. The Criminals, you don’t have to move out. We’re going to put you in jail where you belong.”
The president isn’t mincing words—his plan emphasizes relocating vagrants to facilities outside the city where they can access real help, away from the temptations and enablers that keep them on the streets. The administration is already exploring such options, though Leavitt noted they’re not yet finalized. Image

Overall Foreign-Born Population Down 2.2 Million January to July: Illegal population estimated to have fallen 1.6 million this year  While employers may be unhappy with a decline in illegal immigrant workers, reducing the supply of labor is likely to be very helpful to less-educated U.S.-born and legal-immigrant workers, whose wages may rise as a result. Further, a tighter labor market and higher wages may help to draw back into jobs the near-record number of working-age American men without a college degree not in the labor force. Policymakers will need to consider these positive effects of reducing illegal immigration as they respond to pressure from employers to reverse the decline.
