Guard me, O Lord...

Deliver me, O Lord, from evil men;
preserve me from violent men,
who plan evil things in their heart
and stir up wars continually.

To relinquish any of the Psalms on the excuse that its sentiments are too violent for a Christian is a clear sign that a person has also given up the very battle that a Christian is summoned...to fight. The Psalms are prayers for those who are engaged in an ongoing spiritual conflict. No one else need bother even opening the book.

Mossallam for a second time in connection with his social media posts praising the Oct. 7 “Resistance,” where Hamas slaughtered over 1,200 Israelis and kidnapped over 250 to boot. He had returned to flying Boeing 757 and 767 aircraft after only a brief removal from service nearly three years ago, and United has now removed him from the airline’s flight schedule through at least the end of October. The head-scratching part is why this guy was allowed to fly after his initial suspension and why he isn’t being fired – the Jihadist is under an ongoing review. United, do better.
