PK Men's Ministry Extends Hand to America's Servicemen

Promise Keepers, the world's largest international ministry to men, is offering U.S. servicemen a discount for its conference, effective for the rest of 2005.

As the nation continues a war in Iraq and troops continue to be dispatched overseas to protect the interests of the people, Promise Keepers prepares to help in the way they know best - with the popular Biblical conference for men, “The Awakening – An Unpredictable Adventure.”

"I think as a nation at war, we have to find ways to return the service," said Steve Chavis, spokesperson for PK. "This is our way to help our servicemen.

"Indicating his concern for the sacrifices many soldiers must make, Dr. Tom Fortson, president and CEO of Promise Keepers, said in a statement that "Freedom is never free, and we owe it to our armed forces to make the details of life as hassle-free as possible.”
