AFA CL&P Defends Picketers Against Lawsuits Filed By Owner and Patron of Nude Bar

The American Family Association Center for Law & Policy has agreed to defend fourteen (14) individuals against two lawsuits brought against them by the owner and a patron of a nude bar called Club 71. The bar, located in Sunny Valley, Oregon, opened in February, 2005 despite widespread community opposition.

The defendants, mostly retirees, have been picketing the bar and discouraging patronage since it opened. In addition to peaceful sign display, the picketers photographed the faces and license plate numbers of patrons and dancers, which were then placed on a website called seewhosthere.com. The website states that its purpose is to fight strip clubs coming into the community.
