United Methodist Church's highest court, handed down another defeat to homosexual activists in the denomination yesterday when it defrocked Beth Stroud, a lesbian minister from Pennsylvania, for violating the UMC ban on "self-avowed, practicing, homosexuals" in ordained ministry.
