Episcopalians open reclaimed Attleboro church
Anglicans had left at diocese's order

ATTLEBORO -- Scores of parishioners who fell away from All Saints church in Attleboro in recent years as the schism in the Episcopal Church of the United States deepened flocked back yesterday in an attempt to revive an Episcopal congregation in the 116-year-old parish.
They were supported by dozens of visitors from other Episcopal churches, who were responding to an appeal from the Diocese of Massachusetts to support the revival of Episcopalianism in Attleboro.
About 120 worshi pers were in the pews, applauding, as the Rev. Gregory Jacobs , a diocesan official, welcomed "the return, the rebirth, the resurrection of what we have all come to know and love as All Saints Episcopal Church."
