Archbishop of Hong Kong to Speak on Transformation of Anglican Church

The new Archbishop of Hong Kong will address members of the Church of Ireland on the transformation of the Anglican Church in Hong Kong at a forthcoming lecture.

“Colonial Legacy to Chinese Church – The transformation of the Anglican Church in Hong Kong” is the title of this year’s Godrey Day Memorial Lecture to be delivered by the Most Rev Paul Kwong.

The lecture will be hosted by Dublin University Far East Mission, a mission agency of the Church of Ireland, on 19 April at Trinity College Dublin.

Archbishop Kwong will speak about the transformation of the Anglican Church in Hong Kong from a colonial legacy to a truly Chinese Church.
