Boycott 'disappoints' Anglican Primate

The head of the Anglican Church in Australia says he's disappointed Sydney bishops have pulled out of the church's top global meeting this year.

The boycott of the Lambeth Conference is being spearheaded by the Archbishop of Sydney Peter Jensen, a leading conservative voice in the acrimonious row over the ordination of openly gay Bishop Gene Robinson in the United States.

Dr Aspinall said in a statement that he was disappointed over the move by Dr Jensen, and urged him to reconsider. the rest
