eHarmony has retracted a column advocating "one-night stands" after a newlywed Christian couple who met on the popular website accused the online dating service of departing from its "Christian, pro-marriage beginnings" and embracing the "hook-up" culture.
J.P. and Amanda Duffy say on their wedding day last November, they shared with their family and friends how they had met through eHarmony and "praised the matching service for promoting healthy, life-long marriage relationships." But their high view of eHarmony changed last week when they learned its most recent e-newsletter included an article titled "Navigating the one-night stand."the rest image

I suppose that's why eHarmony has also stopped posting "matched on..." and then "married on..." dates on their commercials. Now it's just "matched on...".
