Australian Primate to Serve as Lambeth Spokesman

Archbishop Phillip Aspinall of Brisbane, Primate of the Anglican Province of Australia, will act as principal spokesman for the bishops attending the upcoming Lambeth Conference.
According to a July 2 release by the Anglican Communion News Service, Archbishop Aspinall will chair a daily press briefing during the conference. He previously served as spokesman for the primates at their 2007 meeting in Tanzania.
“The Conference will be a time for listening as well as speaking, and I will be as much a part of that listening process as my fellow bishops,” Archbishop Aspinall said. The Living Church
