The Nicene Creed sung by Orthodox Church Choir
Welcome to Transfigurations! This blog is intended to serve the orthodox Anglican community and the wider Christian community. We pray that all that is posted here will be faithful to the Scriptures as the inspired word of God, speak the truth in love, edify, bless and transform this local body of Christ, and be an impetus for revival, repentance, prayer and intercession!

What kind of Orthodox? What church? It is beautiful and I would like to know more about it.
Judy: Saw your question, listened for a minute, and recognized that the tonality of the creed was more western than eastern, so guessed it might be Russian or OCA. Then saw the website address in the video. It's Orthodox Church of the Holy Cross in Medford, New Jersey, part of OCA (Orthodox Church in America). The OCA seminary, St. Vladimir's, recently signed a Concordat with Nashotah House as part of an initiative to further ecumenical relations between Anglicans and Orthodox. Read about it at http://toalltheworld.blogspot.com/2009/09/in-footsteps-of-st-tikhon-and-bp.html.
You're right -- this is beautiful.
