Georgetown Jesuit: Our Job Isn't to Bring People to God

Georgetown Jesuit: Our Job Isn't to Bring People to God
Now, this is depressing. Not surprising. But definitely depressing. I just got this video from the Cardinal Newman Society concering Georgetown University. And it's a doozy. And here's the thing -this is what Georgetown is publicly espousing. I can't imagine what it is they're not saying....

What I heard him say was that it isn't their job to bring God to people, but "We're going to bring people to God." Certainly God has already made the first move and is here with us. It is up to us to accept the grace and forgiveness He has offered. So the idea that they need to bring people to God rather than God to people does not seem problematic to me. Listen to it again, carefully.
