Planned Parenthood to forgo payment in fetal tissue programs Responding to a furor over undercover videos, Planned Parenthood says it will maintain programs at some of its clinics that make fetal tissue available for research, but will no longer accept any sort of payment to cover the costs of those programs.
                                                        
Pro-life activists who recently released a series of covertly filmed videos have contended that Planned Parenthood officials sought profits from their programs providing post-abortion fetal tissue to researchers. Planned Parenthood said the videos were deceptively edited and denied seeking any payments beyond legally permitted reimbursement of costs.... (So that makes everything OK?)

California gov. signs law forcing pro-life pregnancy clinics to promote abortion to women  Just days after signing a law to allow assisted suicide, California's Catholic governor is forcing pro-life pregnancy care clinics to provide information on how to obtain abortions to women who come to them for help.

Governor Jerry Brown signed "The Reproductive FACT Act" on Friday. The law forces pro-life clinics and medical clinics licensed by the state to tell women where to obtain abortions. Additionally, a document with this information is to be posted and/or distributed at the clinic....

Harvard University Study Reveals Astonishing Link Between Firearms, Crime and Gun Control   According to a study in the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy, which cites the Centers for Disease Control, the U.S. National Academy of Sciences and the United Nations International Study on Firearms Regulation, the more guns a nation has, the less criminal activity.

In other words, more firearms, less crime, concludes the virtually unpublicized research report by attorney Don B. Kates and Dr. Gary Mauser. But the key is firearms in the hands of private citizens...
