New York's Democrat Gov Kathy Hochul rants the border is 'too open'...and demanded a limit on how many people can stream over into the US  During a Sunday appearance on CBS' 'Face the Nation,' Hochul said she feels the country's border is currently too much of a free-for-all.

A record 260,000 migrants flooded across the border last month alone, causing chaos not only in border states that are ill-equipped to stomach such massive population influxes but in sanctuary states like New York.

Head in the Sand Dunes: Cape Cod's Self-Destruction 

The Cape Cod Times also revealed some shocking data: "[t]he number of economically disadvantaged Cape students has been climbing" and is now roughly 50%.  Concurrently, the number of students who don't speak English as their first language is around 30%.  That's just a microcosm of what Democrats want to do in every town in the U.S.

The mostly affluent, disconnected residents of Cape Cod — which has historically included liberal power-players like the Kennedys, Clintons, and Obamas — have long been funding progressive policies responsible for gutting American cities and small towns.

‘It’s all just your imagination!’ Or at least that’s what the legacy media keeps trying to tell us every time the Biden administration opens up a new front in the War On Things That Work. That theory is about to be put to the test yet again with the latest announcement coming from Joe Biden’s Department of Energy. In a statement issued by Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, a person with absolutely no education or professional history in the energy sector, we were informed that new “energy efficiency regulations” are on the way that will directly impact residential natural gas furnaces. It’s not a “ban” in the traditional sense, but the new efficiency requirements being proposed will either be impossible to achieve or will drive the price of these furnaces beyond the reach of many working-class American homeowners.

Like the mistaken Bolsheviks, liberal elites believe they are the vanguard of the proletariat.  They can't seem to comprehend that when they destroy the middle-class Americans that they find so contemptible, they will eventually destroy themselves.

The Covid Cover-up...Health authorities and policymakers squandered public trust by lying to the American people    When scientists craft their scientific conclusions to political ends, they are no longer practicing science. They have entered the political fray. They shouldn’t be surprised when the public begins suspecting political motives behind their other claims, as well. Public health officials let political concerns and institutional biases influence their statements and policies throughout the pandemic. And the media eagerly served as handmaiden to these efforts. Americans started the Covid-19 pandemic ready to make enormous sacrifices to protect their own health and that of others. But our political leaders, health officials, and media squandered that trust through years of capricious policies and calculated dishonesty. It could take a generation or more to win it back.

Thanks, but No Thanks—New Poll Shows Americans Not Interested in New COVID Vaccines 

Two things are clear from this poll: 1) There is vaccine fatigue among a majority of Americans, even Democrats, and 2) the political divide over how to respond to the virus still exists, and may even be wider than previously. Should COVID cases rise dramatically, expect furious ideological battles to erupt between Democrats and Republicans.
