Is it ready for a crisis?   Biden’s administration sold off more than 40 percent of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve last year to help limit rising fuel prices after Russia invaded Ukraine, leaving the stockpile at its lowest levels since the early 1980s. That’s fueling Republican accusations that Biden has left the U.S. vulnerable to a disruption of global oil supplies — at a time when Hamas’ terrorist attacks in Israel are stoking fears of a wider regional war disrupting fuel shipments from the Middle East.

You fight evil with a faith in God that yields to no government.  You fight evil with moral conviction that cannot be bent to appease the offended.  You fight evil by standing when others sit and by speaking when others fall quiet — because sometimes it is the outsider who inspires a righteous rebellion or the soft voice that can only be heard when others are silent. 

You do this, and people will come.  They will awaken from their moral slumber.  They will remember that there are things worth defending with their lives.  They will remember that a healthy soul and personal freedom go hand in hand.  They will find strength in your example.

The Alternate Universe of Anti-Israel Protestors  

These anti-Israel/pro-Hamas demonstration are more than just anti-Semitism, although they are certainly that. The rallies expose yet another pathology afflicting today’s academia, namely students are being indoctrinated into a misleading, cartoonish understanding of the world and an obviousness to true historical evil. Particularly at elite universities, such ignorance is an embarrassment. How is it possible for a group of Columbia University students to announc, “Gaza is an open-air prison that lacks essential necessities such as food, clean water, medicine and electricity”? How did the Israeli air force destroy nonexistent facilities? Parents should demand tuition refunds. Contemporary universities have created youngsters who are willfully blind to reality and demand that others share their fantasies.
