Google Buries Trump Site Even in Thick of Republican Nat’l Convention  As the Republican National Convention kicked off Monday, Google is continuing to bury former President Donald Trump’s campaign website while propping up his opponents.  
     MRC researchers searched Google using a “clean environment” (without the influence of prior search history and tracking cookies) and found that the search giant completely eliminated Donald Trump’s website from the top 100 search results, while pushing President Joe Biden’s campaign website up to the number one spot. 
     Researchers conducted three separate searches for the top three candidate’s names along with the words “presidential race 2024.”  While the results for Trump brought up seemingly endless 2024 election updates, including news articles, polls and commentaries, the search engine did not display the candidate’s campaign website. 
     Google, however, had no issues displaying Joe Biden’s campaign website as the first result in an equivalent search. Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s website appeared as the fourth result in a similar search.

Former President Donald Trump and his running mate, Ohio Senator JD Vance, surprised the National Republican Convention with appearances Tuesday, though neither of them addressed the crowd. Nikki Haley, Trump’s longest rival in the 2024 presidential primary, also made an appearance to endorse Trump.

Biden’s Team Deliberately Kneecapped Trump’s Security To Allow An Assassination Attempt  They kept the rooftop open, watched the shooter, kept Trump on the stage, and didn’t do a damn thing until after he had been shot. And we’re supposed to believe it was an innocent oopsie?

The old proverb that starts “be careful what you wish for” should have been considered over the past eight years by the political left. The “our democracy” crowd should have remembered what happened to the dog who caught the car before it started chasing it. Now the political left is trapped in a mess of its own making.

The Republic Is Asleep...The civic ignorance of American young people is vast, but the tide may be turning.   For example, 60% of college students could not correctly identify the term lengths of members serving in U.S. Congress, and 63% were unable to identify the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Importantly, these were multiple-choice questions. Hence, students didn’t have to recall John Roberts’ name, only recognize it. The same is true for the Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, whose name was only known to 35% of students. More than two-thirds didn’t know that impeachment trials occur before the Senate. A majority of students believe that the Constitution was written in 1776 rather than 1787.

But the damage was long done.  The message was communicated to parents — that they could have the FBI showing up at their doorstep if they rightfully voiced their concerns about what their children are exposed to in school.  Also, to militant leftist, woke, and LGBTQ+ groups — they had the administration’s support.  Ironically, these are groups that have demonstrated a capacity for the sort of violence feared by parents.
      As the House Judicial Committee report concluded, the coordinated actions were “all about intimidation” — weaponizing the government to go after political opponents, in this case, parents, and secure their silence. Jordan calls the “dedicated line of threat reporting” set up by Garland a “snitch line on parents.”  In a follow-up letter to Garland, committee members wrote that the NSBA letter to the White House “strengthens our concerns that the Biden administration is chilling protected First Amendment activity.”

Celebrate Diversity: Muslim Cab Driver Beheads Jesus Statue Outside NYC Church   The New York Post reported Saturday that “a NYC taxi driver was hit with a hate crime [charge] for allegedly beheading a statue depicting a young Jesus outside a Queens Catholic church, prosecutors said.” The iconoclast who did the deed was one Jamshaid Choudhry, who lives in Hollis, Queens. “Jamshaid” is a Persian name that is common among Muslims in central and south Asia. Choudhry “was arrested Thursday night and charged with criminal mischief as a hate crime and other related crimes for allegedly decapitating the statue outside of the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Fresh Meadows on June 30.”
