Every time a church closes, almost one third of its congregation stops going to church entirely. They do not find another church to worship at or stream any online services. So, it should be of huge concern that 3,500 churches have closed in the UK in the last ten years.
   In Wales, around a quarter of historic churches and chapels have closed their doors in recent years, with just as many now at risk. Meanwhile, the Church of Scotland – guardian of many of the country’s most important buildings – is actively planning the closure of as many as 40 per cent of its churches.

Huge fire shuts down UK’s Heathrow Airport — up to 100,000 impacted, planes turned away  London’s Heathrow Airport, one of the busiest in the world, shut down operations all of Friday — disrupting over 1,000 flights across the globe — after a massive fire at a nearby electrical substation cut off power to the airport. 
Flyers are being advised to avoid the airport for the entire day as planes had already begun being diverted away from the British travel hub in the early hours... 
...More than 1,300 flights are affected by the emergency closure, with potentially over 100,000 people having their travel plans altered, CNN reported.

 Trump Dismantles Department of Education With New Executive Order   Trump pointed to alarming statistics: “Seventy percent of eighth graders are not proficient in either reading or in math." Even more troubling, “Forty percent of fourth graders lack even basic reading skills, can’t read.” He noted that public school students today perform worse in reading than when the Department of Education was created.
