The Muslim Brotherhood: A Terrorist Organization That the US Must Designate as One  Designating the Muslim Brotherhood a Foreign Terrorist Organization is vital not only for the national security of the United States, but also for combating Islamist terrorism around the world. If America's Arab allies have reached the conclusion that the Muslim Brotherhood is a dangerous Islamist terror organization, there is no reason why the US and other Western countries should continue to pretend that it is all about charitable and humanitarian work.

I suspect that the reason for MacArthur’s popularity was the hunger many people had for expository preaching. MacArthur was certainly not the first expository preacher, nor was he the only one in existence in the 1970s, when his preaching career began taking off. But at the time, expository preaching in the way MacArthur practiced it was not very common in the American evangelical Baptist world, and MacArthur’s version of it was therefore lifechanging for many people who heard it for the first time. Investigators revealed that the dismantled sites included some of the most egregious child exploitation platforms online, featuring sections dedicated to infants, toddlers, and violent content involving sadism and torture. The sites collectively attracted over 120,000 users and had at least 100,000 visits in a single day.Eight defendants were prosecuted and sentenced in the Southern District of Florida alone for running one of the largest of the targeted websites.

AI models may be accidentally (and secretly) learning each other’s bad behaviors   Artificial intelligence models can secretly transmit dangerous inclinations to one another like a contagion, a recent study found.
Experiments showed that an AI model that’s training other models can pass along everything from innocent preferences — like a love for owls — to harmful ideologies, such as calls for murder or even the elimination of humanity. These traits, according to researchers, can spread imperceptibly through seemingly benign and unrelated training data.

Manhattan shooter was targeting NFL headquarters, NYC mayor says  A gunman who killed four people at a Manhattan office building before killing himself was trying to target the headquarters of the NFL but took the wrong elevator, Mayor Eric Adams said Tuesday.
Investigators believe Shane Tamura, of Las Vegas, was trying to get to the NFL offices after shooting several people Monday in the building's lobby but accidentally entered the wrong set of elevator banks, Adams said in interviews.
Four people, including off-duty New York City Police Officer Didarul Islam, were killed. Police said Tamura had a history of mental illness, and a rambling note found on his body suggested that he had a grievance against the NFL over a claim that he suffered from chronic traumatic encephalopathy, which can only be diagnosed after someone has died. He played high school football in California nearly two decades ago, but he never played in the NFL. Screenshot

Deadly Persecution of Christians Continues in Africa and Asia  The world is obsessed with repeating falsified statistics and outright lies from Hamas about Gaza, but almost no one in the West seems to care about the persecution of Christians in numerous African and Asian countries — and even in South America.
From Syria to Nigeria, from India to Sudan, from the DRC to Colombia, from Gaza to China, from Iran to Turkey, and from Pakistan to Indonesia, persecution of Christians is on the rise, with Communism and Islam as the two biggest culprits.

At least 31 young people in Eucharistic adoration were killed late Sunday night during an attack on a Catholic church in the Democratic Republic of Congo Local officials say the armed group responsible was the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), an Islamic State affiliate operating in Central Africa.

New Data Shows Arrests of Criminal Illegal Aliens Have Made a ‘Real Impact on Public Safety,’ DHS Official Announces   During the first six months of 2025, homicides fell 17% across 30 U.S. cities when compared with the first half 2024, according to the Council on Criminal Justice, an independent research organization, which has just published its midyear report on crime trends in U.S. cities.
In the first six months of 2025, there were “10% fewer reported aggravated assaults, 21% fewer gun assaults, 10% fewer sexual assaults, and 3% more domestic violence incidents” when compared to the time last year, according to the report.

...How have we allowed parts of cities like Chicago to become more dangerous than actual war zones?

Here’s Why New Data Finds Continued Enrollment Slide For Public Schools   Finally, the overall culture and spirit of public schools has become increasingly immoral. Many young people from otherwise wholesome households are introduced to a wide variety of obscenity, vice, and nihilism at the typical school. Bullying and harassment go unchecked, kids routinely swear, everyone cheats on their work, most of the boys are addicted to online pornography, most of the girls consume mindless slop on social media, and most teachers are demoralized by idiotic policies that dictate how they’re supposed to teach.
Normally, this could be counteracted by some good friends and a strong church community, but the screens have severely impaired kids’ social skills, and religious practice is the one thing that public school educators actively discourage. Thus, many classrooms gradually become morally desolate wastelands where children lose their innocence and grow to hate their lives.

The Bad Science and Bad Policy at the Heart of the Climate Movement    Climate policy has been steered into a political cul-de-sac by bad science and bad policy. The bad science can be found in the UN-FCCC’s definition of climate change that is at odds with the scientifically-accurate definition of climate change of the IPCC. The bad policy results from the use of global average temperatures as a proxy for human flourishing, making cost-benefit analyses seem unnecessary or even unhelpful to the political cause.

FDA expresses scepticism of the science that demonised saturated fats as causing heart disease  The war on saturated fats may be coming to an end, with FDA Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary and US Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. questioning the science behind the diet-heart hypothesis.
For decades defending saturated fat was considered scientific heresy.  Australian investigative journalist Maryanne Demasi knows; she is one of those who refuted the demonisation of saturated fats and has paid the price.
But now, with the FDA expressing scepticism that saturated fats are bad for our health, the tide may be turning.
