As Christians put more trust in AI, pastor warns of idolatry  Just over two years ago, when some pastors began experimenting with artificial intelligence to generate sermons, a majority of Christians didn't think the technology was good for the Church.
   Fast-forward, and the use of AI has increased by 80% across all ministries in churches, and a growing number of people have been turning to apps like Text With Jesus for spiritual guidance.

Majority of pastors now using AI to prepare sermons amid rapid embrace of technology: study  "Overall, the survey depicts a church that is increasingly open to the ministry possibilities of artificial intelligence, while still grappling with the weighty ethical and practical considerations involved," researchers state. This pattern has repeated throughout history. For those of us who have always been doubtful about the value of face masks, covid at least provided a golden opportunity to see if any beneficial effect could be demonstrated. As we suspected, there was no demonstrable benefit to wearing face masks. They were nothing short of an expensive and inconvenient con. Moreover, their prolonged use was associated with demonstrable harms such as decreased cognition and increased reaction time. Their enforced wearing by young children, in whom they affected language and emotional development, was nothing short of child abuse.
   Yet the mask maniacs persist and try every trick to convince us that face masks have some benefit.

Bad for the brain: Kids are learning less in high-tech schools  "More than half of all students now use a computer at school for one to four hours each day, and a full quarter spend more than four hours on screens during a typical seven-hour school day," he writes. Researchers estimate that students drift off task for up to 38 minutes of every hour  on classroom devices.
