Christmas hope...

The Christmas message is that there is hope for a ruined humanity—hope of pardon, hope of peace with God, hope of glory—because at the Father’s will Jesus Christ became poor, and was born in a stable so that thirty years later He might hang on a cross.

Scripture does not command limitless compassion. It commands ordered love.
A man who refuses to provide for his household is not generous. He is condemned. A shepherd who abandons his flock to chase every wandering animal is not noble. He is negligent. Love begins with responsibility, and responsibility has boundaries.
The Bible assumes this order everywhere it speaks. Care begins at home. Obligation flows outward from proximity. Authority is tied to jurisdiction. These are not political inventions. They are moral realities woven into creation.
A nation is no different. Excellent read...

The article is about the incredible damage DEI policies have had on the employment prospects, and the resulting psychological impact, on Millennial white males trying to make their mark writing in the world of media. It's obviously a niche industry, but it's a microcosm of the ongoing devastation of DEI policies that took root during the Obama presidency and crescendoed after the death of George Floyd in 2020.

Gov. Hochul concludes her contorted rationale by invoking gauzy language of spending one’s final days “with sunlight streaming through their bedroom window” and hearing “the laughter of their grandkids echoing in the next room.” That is, until the plug is pulled. No, there is no sunlight or laughter in this bill, but only darkness and sorrow. The governor now heads into a re-election campaign having burnished her credentials as a champion of the culture of death, leaving those most vulnerable, at life’s beginning and end, without the legal protections that their God-given dignity demands. Regardless of the outcome in November, Gov. Hochul has made New York a colder, crueler, and more callous state. Image

IMPEACHMENT MADNESS: Democrats Prove They Have No Real Interest in Governing  In total, that’s five separate impeachment resolutions introduced during the first 11 months of the second Trump administration.
We are told that Democrats’ congressional leadership is not enthusiastic about impeaching the President or members of his Cabinet, but if you listen carefully to them, what they are really saying is that everyone should be patient until they win back the House.

NY Times Declares War on Homeschooling    The NY Times attack, republished by other major newspapers across the country, is part of a coordinated assault. From the UNESCO report demanding government control over home education and the efforts of Harvard law Professor Elizabeth Bartholet to ban it, to European media anti-homeschooling propaganda and government attacks, this is just the start.
Ultimately, home education appears to be emerging as a major threat not just to government indoctrination programs, but to totalitarian agendas everywhere. The more children receive an amazing education from their parents, the more obvious it becomes that the “public education” system is dumbing down and brainwashing the population.
