I bless the Lord who gives me counsel;
    in the night also my heart instructs me.
I have set the Lord always before me;
    because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.

Americans were unique in sacrificing their treasure and lives to found the first country in history, establishing that all people have natural rights that come from God rather than from rulers or government. The Declaration of Independence affirmed the equality of all people and that they were endowed with unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And just because it took 200 years for that entire vision to be fully realized, it does not diminish the founding based on those ideals. In fact, Americans should be both grateful and proud of the 5000-year miracle of their country being the first in human history to establish that it was the people and not the State who had sovereign and unalienable rights—the Bill of Rights.

What has happened to our country? It’s amazing, the insanity leftists can get away with today  We need only to look at the disgusting behavior of Luigi Mangione “fans,” cheering for that backshooting murderer outside the courtroom where he’s being tried, to recognize the cultural depravity that has gripped our country.  Furthermore, when we see the rise of antisemitism in the Democrat party, and in the podcasts of some so-called conservative Republicans, it’s a chilling reminder of how quickly people forget what such bigotry leads to.  President Trump didn’t forget.  His support of the Jewish community is further enhanced by his strong, unapologetic alliance with Israel.  Additionally, his focus on combating Jewish hatred on college campuses is in direct opposition to left-wing dogma. 

The moral norm in American society has shifted during the years from 1910 to the present, but especially during the past 50 years.  The link between being a “good citizen” and a “moral person” has atrophied, and we find ourselves in a decline, where so-called “good citizens” are regularly engaged in behaviors that in earlier decades were considered immoral or illegal.  Bad behavior is now “not so bad,” and crimes are often believed to be merely “adjustment problems.”  This shift in cultural values and norms has divided the population to the point where the more moral people tend to be older and deem younger generations less than moral.
