The wonder of the life of Jesus is this—and you will find it so and you have found it so if you have ever taken your New Testament and tried to make it the rule of your daily life—that there is not a single action that you are called upon to do of which you need be, of which you will be, in any serious doubt for ten minutes as to what Jesus Christ, if He were here, Jesus Christ being here, would have you do under those circumstances and with the materials upon which you are called to act.

At least since New York passed its Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA) back in 2019, it has been clear that trouble has been coming for New York’s electrical grid.  The CLCPA effectively prohibits construction of new fossil fuel power plants, even natural gas plants; and the old ones are aging and are forbidden to be replaced or upgraded.  Supposedly, lots of wind and solar generators were going to be added to the system.  But those have been slow to come and, more importantly, can’t be counted on to generate anything when you need them.

Massive disconnect of power roils largest US electric grid  The epicenter of the event was in northern Virginia, home to the largest collection of data centers in the world. When an area transmission line went out of service Wednesday morning, the data centers' own control systems unplugged from the electric grid and transferred to backup power, Dominion Energy, the electric utility for the region, said in a statement.
   "Within minutes of the incident occurring, our system operations team was able to stabilize the situation and return to normal operating conditions," Dominion said.
   The Virginia event underscores why federal and state regulators are studying measures to better manage sudden drops in demand from data centers and crypto miners that can destabilize grids.

Democrats have a poison called DSA—Democrat Socialists of America—a communist organization that made Mamdani mayor of New York, New York. If communism can make it there, it will make it anywhere, right?
   But Democrat officials know voters are rejecting it—for now.
