NEVER PUT A WOOL SWEATER IN THE DRYER:THINGS YOUR CHILD NEEDS TO KNOW BEFORE THEY GO TO COLLEGE
Author Adam Erwin Reveals Wisdom for the Road Ahead

Minneapolis (July 27, 2005) – If recent statistics are any evidence, many of the 2.9 million high school graduates in 2005 are not ready for college life. Thirty-two percent of college students drop out within their first year. For those that survive, about 70 percent of students at four-year colleges have at least one credit card with an average balance of more than $2,000.

In his book “Wisdom for the Road Ahead: Walking with God While Walking on Campus,” author Adam Erwin provides Christ-centered wisdom to college-bound students on everything from credit cards to accountability. Based on advice Erwin received from more than 200 interviews with college students, “Wisdom for the Road Ahead” is several students’ answer to one question: If you had 30 minutes with a high school senior, what would you tell them about college?
