Additional information as to Cindy Sheehan's ideologies and ties to radicals and the terrorist movement has emerged.

In April 2005, Sheehan appeared as a speaker at San Francisco State University to honor Attorney Lynne Stewart. Stewart was the attorney convicted of aiding and abetting terrorists by assisting her client, the 1993 perpetrator of the World Trade Center bombing Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman, to relay [his] messages to terrorist cells.

During Sheehan's speech, she compared Stewart to the honorable character Atticus Finch in the novel "To Kill A Mockingbird" and said of the United States "This country is not worth dying for" and "We are not waging a war on terror in this country. We're waging a war of terror. The biggest terrorist in the world is George W. Bush."
