Pastor Gong Shengliang, leader of the South China Church, has been thrown behind prison bars and tortured because of his work for Jesus Christ.
He has been placed unjustly in Hong Shan Prison, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, "unable to move his mouth and suffered some loss of hearing in his right ear," per Christian Solidarity via
Countless Christians like Pastor Gong are going through the same mistreatment because of carrying the gospel message. Speaking to others about Christ is dangerous in China due to the government seeking to squelch all Christian work there.
