The Church of England has launched a new powerful search to aid thousands of people wanting to trace back the “branches in their family tree”.

The search will be available in the Church of England website, and reflects the huge popularity of people researching into their family history.

A Church of England statement comments that “when the 1901 Census was placed online in 2002 it soon became one of the most visited sites on the web, and more than 829,000 people have visited The National Archive’s Family Records Centres in London and Kew in the last three years. the rest
