It takes a strong Christian digestion to stomach what passes for modern theological education and ‘deep thot’ on the Anglican left. And.. then there’s Canon Tim Smart, of the Diocese of Montreal.

Via one of our favourite new websites of 2006, Kraalspace, we read: “It’s one thing for a scruffy little blogger to make fun of the Anglican Church, but when Anglican stupidity reaches the notice of the great Mark Steyn, it’s game over.”

When our Tim first bobbed to the surface, he was well-fisked by a number of conservative Anglican bloggers, and linked by us.. Like brute beasts that have no understanding; and Felix Hominum’s Is Jesus one of the guys?, plus the original text of Canon Smart’s proud offering. Here’s a new MCJ take on the matter, plus comments from his minions.
