Where in the World Are the 177,000 Illegal Aliens DHS 'Lost'?   Of the 177,000 illegal aliens released, 54,000 had blank addresses, while the rest had either invalid or non-existent addresses. Some locations on the address forms were used 50 times, including a restaurant in Maryland, a bus station in Georgia, a car dealership in New Jersey, and a church in Illinois.

Obviously, if there’s no address, there’s no way that DHS can send the illegal alien notice of his or her immigration hearing. And in the course of vetting the illegals for criminal activity or national security risks, without a valid address they can never be arrested and deported.

The Bluster and Demise of Sanctuary Cities

The leaders of these cities have no one to blame but themselves. They practically begged for this invasion by placing their egos ahead of their citizens. By continuing to govern in this irresponsible manner, they are only compounding an already dangerous problem.

Sanctuary cities must be eliminated, the border must be closed, and anyone remaining here illegally must be deported. We are a nation of legal immigrants who came to this country looking for a better life and anxious to contribute to American society. Those who come here illegally are already sending a signal that American laws don’t apply to them. In far too many cases, they are not arriving to contribute, but only to take.

We’ve been told that the people fleeing the Democrat strongholds of California, Illinois, and New York are conservatives, but I’ve long argued that that’s not quite the case. As a general rule, these blue refugees fall into one of two camps. They’re either hardcore and impressively empty-headed leftists who can’t understand why homes have become so unaffordable or traffic so bad; or they’re traditional conservative Democrats, who just aren’t radical leftists. But they are not, as a whole, solid and principled constitutionalists, and when they arrive at a place with a functioning society and civic sanity, it provides them with the latitude to still vote Democrat.

Academia's Missing Men...Men are disappearing from science and academia. The public perception is, however, exactly the opposite.  We must continue to ensure that higher education and scientific training remain open to people from all demographics. But we should not encourage diversity at the cost of driving away talented people. Our fixation on raising the profile of women and minorities in science by minimizing the role and status of men in general, and white men in particular, is misplaced.
