Sen Ted Cruz: “Today's resolution is a capitulation to and victory for Hamas. It reverses what the Biden administration said was its policy linking a ceasefire to the release of hostages, even while Hamas is still holding hostages, including American hostages. It does not acknowledge let alone condemn the atrocities of October 7, the worst one-day massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. It includes vague pro forma language calling for a release of hostages, which is designed to be ignored by Hamas and will be ignored. Indeed, today’s resolution will further entrench Hamas: the terrorist group and its Iranian backers committed the atrocities of October 7 precisely because they counted on the Biden administration to pressure Israel to let Hamas win, and today the Biden administration shamefully confirmed their calculation.

Not only did Trump secure financial relief in court on Monday, he also had his highest-earning day on record. Trump Media & Technology Group concluded a lengthy merger process with Digital World Acquisition Corp., officially transferring shares valued at billions of dollars into Trump's ownership.

Witchcraft, a Multi-Billion-Dollar Industry, Is Rapidly Evangelizing Nevertheless, in an age defined by comfort and convenience, Christianity finds itself at a disadvantage. Its calls for self-sacrifice, humility, and obedience to God contrast sharply with witchcraft, which offers what appears to be a shortcut to godlike power. Consider the case of the Etsy witch Freya, who promises that if you purchase her “Powerful Death Spell,” then “the spell will work within 1 to 60 days and you will achieve your goal”: the death of an enemy or revenge on someone you hate. In addition, Christianity — with its emphasis on detachment from material possessions, coupled with low compensation for clergy and lay employees — stands in juxtaposition to a religion that serves as a profit machine for its adherents.
Witches’ perceived powers and monetary profits will eventually be recognized as fleeting gains before inevitable, deadly defeat. “For the wages of sin is death,” said Saint Paul, “but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
But before this truth is ultimately made clear, Christianity will have to face off against a religion that seemingly offers endless temporal promises. It will be a difficult battle.

Quick-thinking authorities at the bridge were able to stop cars from crossing the 1.6-mile span, an act that “saved lots of lives,” Maryland Gov. Wes Moore said.
“The ship issued a mayday loss of power. The workers on the bridge halted traffic right before impact. They saved lots of lives,” Moore said at a press conference.

About 35,000 people use the bridge every day, according to Wiedefeld.

The Democrats Have Crossed the Bridge into Unabashed Nazism While the current iteration of the American Left and the Democrat Party does not have a military uniform fetish or goose step up Pennsylvania Avenue, they are little different than the Nazi Party of 1927-1934 in their pursuit of one-party control of Germany. There is no tactic out-of-bounds, no limit to the lives to be sacrificed, no constraint on lawlessness, no acknowledgment of the rule of law, no deference to a written Constitution, and no respect for the dignity of mankind -- just a raw unbridled determination to seize power in perpetuity.
In the foolish belief that it could not happen here, the vast majority of Americans live in blissful obliviousness. The Republican Party wallows in the same mindset and following in the footsteps of the opposition parties in Germany circa 1929-33; they engage in never-ending internal schoolyard squabbles, a near-religious belief in compromise regardless of long-term consequences, and deferentiality to the leadership of the Democrat party. Far too many have not figured out that they are not dealing with the Democrat party of forty-years ago but the Nazi Party of ninety-four-years ago.
The reality is that the overthrow of this nation is happening apace. The process of defeating these tyrannizers will not begin until the tables are turned, and they are exposed and called out for who they are: Nazis.

What is clear from this data is that the mass migration underway today presents a huge opportunity for conservatives, if they can figure out how to seize it.

Why our institutions keep going woke and going broke When the United States was an up-and-coming young nation, we made fun of bumbling, hidebound empires whose ruling classes wasted more effort on social climbing among the aristocracy than on helping their countries get ahead.
Now we’re looking pretty bumbling and hidebound ourselves.
The museum staff mocked the students, called them expletives, and made comments that the museum was a “neutral zone” where they could not express such statements. The employee who ultimately forced the students to leave the museum was rubbing his hands together in glee as they exited the building.
As a matter of fact, words such as “anti-racist,” “racial equity,” and other related phrases appear in the job description over a dozen times.
The job description continues by saying the school district is seeking an assistant superintendent who can “examine the presence and role of ‘Whiteness’ in systems and structures,” and is “open to feedback regarding their own racial blind spots.”

Never in history has a less efficient “prime mover” displaced a more efficient one. We believe this time will be no different. While governments may try to coerce drivers into buying EVs or even ban ICE altogether, these policies will ultimately fail as consumers insist on keeping their more efficient vehicles. A new battery breakthrough would help make EVs more energy efficient, and we are studying the space very closely. In particular, we are impressed with the work being done by the team at PureLithium, in which we have made a small private investment. However, we cannot identify any battery technology that would materially change this analysis. Until then, we expect internal combustion engines will continue to dominate, and EV penetration will disappoint.

In San Jose, Brian Hom, owner of two Vitality Bowls restaurants, now runs his stores with two employees, versus four workers that he typically used in the past. That means it takes longer to make customers’ açaí bowls and other orders, and Hom said he is also raising prices by around 10% to help cover the increased labor costs.
“I’m definitely not going to hire anymore,” he said.
