When we finally learn the full melodrama of the so-called Signal 1-2 day “scandal” of inviting a leftwing, Trump-despising, Atlantic editor Jeffrey Goldberg onto a supposedly secure conference list, involving most of the top Trump security officials, lots of questions need asking and answering.

   Most importantly, who exactly had Goldberg’s private number, and ostensibly (in error [?]) could have possibly inserted it into the cleared list of participants in the discussions? Why Goldberg, rather than some random person of some 345 million Americans?

America’s Librarians Became Militantly Political, And Now They Suffer The Consequences  But this is not about local libraries providing resources for gay people in the community. This is once again, about kids. If ordinary people know anything at all about the ALA, it’s because of their annual list of the “Top 10 Most Challenged Books” and the corresponding celebration of “banned books week.” (Of course, when you get down to brass tacks, even the ALA concedes there’s no actual book banning in America – which is why they make a list of “challenged,” rather than banned books.) Every book on the list has explicit sexual content, with the list being heavy on LGBT themes, and every book on the list is specifically aimed at kids.

Did the last five years, call it “the age of woke,” really happen — or were they just a fever dream?

   Apparently we all imagined a time where COVID and cancel culture collided to oppress us.

   No one was shunned for saying really obvious and true things, schools weren’t closed indefinitely under pressure from teachers’ unions, and race conflict wasn’t pushed on Americans from every direction.

   At least that’s what the left would have us believe.

"The Country's Largest COVID Fraud": Somali Immigrants Allegedly Stole $250 Million From Child Nutrition Program   Nearly all of the 70 people charged in a massive $250 million fraud case targeting federal child nutrition programs in Minnesota are Somali immigrants, according to the Washington Free Beacon.

   Between March 2020 and January 2022, they allegedly stole funds meant for feeding children, funneled through a nonprofit called Feeding Our Future. So far, 37 have pleaded guilty, and 7 have been convicted; the rest await trial.
