New York Archdiocese to Negotiate Sex Abuse Settlement  The Archdiocese of New York said Monday it will negotiate a “global” settlement to resolve claims of people who said they were sexually abused as children by Catholic priests and staff members.

   The announcement was made in a public letter by Cardinal Timothy Dolan, posted on the archdiocese’s website, who said church leaders had met in recent weeks with lawyers to discuss terms for a settlement with more than 1,300 accusers. Details of the final settlement would be worked out in negotiations, he said. Image

Welfare Fraud In Blue Cities: How Pervasive Is The Kleptocracy? I suspect that it is completely pervasive that organizations that receive large amounts of government funds for welfare programs then are expected to and do provide political support back to the politicians that arranged for the funding.  The “political support” could be campaign contributions, or campaign workers, or door knockers, or phone banks, or advocacy.  The teachers’ unions are undoubtedly the ones who have perfected these techniques beyond the level of anyone else.  The handout state is inherently corrupt.

This is not immigration-It's replacement... ...the message went out that if it was permissible to cross the border unlawfully, then, by extension, it would be seen as equally fine to reside illegally as well—and perhaps further to ignore laws, on the theory that the host had sanctioned all such exemptions.
