He has great tranquility of heart...

But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame. For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God's will, than for doing evil. -1 Peter 3:14-17

He has great tranquility of heart who cares neither for the praises nor the fault-finding of men. He will easily be content and pacified, whose conscience is pure. You are not holier if you are praised, nor the more worthless if you are found fault with. What you are, that you are; neither by word can you be made greater than what you are in the sight of God.   -Thomas à Kempis

$68 Million Muslim Day Care Fraud Linked to New York Dems  While the nation’s attention has been focused on Somali health care fraud in Minnesota, the $68 million Pakistani Muslim fraud case out of Brooklyn shows a pattern that goes beyond any individual state or Muslim community, and also shows the intimate connections between Muslim fraud networks and the Democratic Party which forces taxpayers to fund systemic Islamic fraud.
    And then profits from it.

Virginia Democrats Want Schools To Push State-Enforced Homosexuality  A bill proposal from Democrat Del. Sam Rasoul would require history and social studies courses taught at public schools would be required to push the “contributions, perspectives, and experiences of historically marginalized communities, including racial and ethnic minorities; immigrants and refugees; women; individuals with disabilities; individuals who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+); individuals from various socioeconomic statuses; individuals from various religious backgrounds; and any other group of individuals that the Board of Education deems appropriate.”

Cops falsely identified as ICE agents and the ER’s political triage,,,A dangerous precedent in American medicine   In a city where law enforcement risks life and limb daily to protect its citizens, three NYPD detectives found themselves attacked not once, but twice; first by a violent suspect, and second by the very medical staff meant to heal them. According to a detailed X post, detectives from New York City’s finest were rushed to NYU Langone’s Cobble Hill Emergency Room after being assaulted on the job. But instead of immediate care, they faced a bizarre interrogation: Hospital staff initially refused to admit them until the plainclothes officers disarmed themselves, allegedly because staff thought they were ICE agents. Only then were they grudgingly attended to...
...Inserting politics or religion into triage, the critical process of prioritizing emergency care, is a recipe for disaster. Imagine the chaos: A doctor pausing to quiz a bleeding patient on their views about immigration, climate change, or abortion before administering aid. Every second wasted on ideological litmus tests is a second stolen from saving lives. Resources already stretched thin in overcrowded ERs are diverted to interrogations instead of IVs, X-rays, or CPR. Even brief delays in triage can increase mortality in high-acuity cases. In a diverse nation like ours, this politicization risks everyone’s care: What if your MAGA hat or BLM sticker becomes the barrier to a timely EKG? Or if a nurse’s religious bias delays pain meds for someone of a different faith? The ER should be a neutral zone, not a battlefield for culture wars.

Then again, most of these efforts aren’t organic or spontaneous expressions of political anger anymore.
They are well-funded and well-managed by organizations that see political benefit in creating chaos and turning our country into a revolutionary battleground.
From Lenin to Alinsky, forced confrontation has been a tactic of Marxist activism.
Every bully, of course, sees themselves as the embodiment of MLK Jr., though most of them lack dignity and a worthy cause.

Minneapolis Police Chief: Yes, the Mob Should Rule  Trump may be right about his reluctance to use the insurrection act to quell the chaos, but that is a tactical question in a political war; but practically speaking, this really IS an insurrection, with state and local officials demanding that they have veto power over the federal government and federal laws.
Their claim is that "Minnesota values" trump federal law and the Supremacy Clause of the Constitution. Last I checked, that was the same claim made by the slave states when they seceded.

Left-Wing Activists Run Shadow Police Force On Signal To Target ICE In Minneapolis  The organizational structure of what appears to be a shadow police force, designed to carry out coordinated pressure campaigns against the federal government, appears highly organized and may even involve coordination with local law enforcement and individuals linked to Gov. Walz.

'Horrifying new details': Anti-ICE agitators blocked stairs at Minnesota Christian church so 'parents were unable to get to their children' "The invasion of Cities Church was even worse than we thought," O'Neil began. "Agitators blocked stairs so 'parents were unable to get to their children' at Sunday School.
"One told a kid, 'Do you know your parents are Nazis, they're going to burn in hell?'"

But apart from all the rants about ICE and the usual propaganda, Obama concludes with “every American should support and draw inspiration from the wave of peaceful protests in Minneapolis and other parts of the country.”
The “peaceful protests” that so far include deadly assaults on federal law enforcement, biting an officer’s finger off, and the usual rioting.

The Wizard of AI: The Critical Error of Outsourcing Morality and Judgment  When an AI system makes a moral judgment, it is not the machine that is deciding.
It is the people who designed it.
Every boundary — what counts as harm, what speech is acceptable, which risks outweigh others — is determined upstream of coding by human beings: committees, engineers, executives. Their assumptions are frozen into systems and presented as neutral process. “The model decided” is a grammatical convenience, not a truth. Let me just say this flatly: when you are told a machine can judge, you are being lied to. The judgment does not belong to the machine. It belongs to the coders.
This is the curtain and the illusion.

University of Utah class explores ‘Black Trans Lesbian Marxists’ and radical literature  The readings for this class include “Mucus in My Pineal Gland” by Steven Zultanski and “The Autobiography of the Other Lady Gaga” by Stefani J. Alvarez, both of which include explicit sexual language.
“Many pieces focus on childhood and early sexual experiences,” says a reviewer of the required reading for this course titled “Mucus in My Pineal Gland.” Alvaraz’s collection includes a piece simply called “naked,” and several others which discuss sexual acts.

Feminist historian: Shakespeare was really a black Jewish woman  Irene Coslet, who has an MSc in Media, Communication and Development from the London School of Economics and “has devoted over two decades to the study and practice of gender equality across multiple countries, focusing on gender and development and gender-based violence prevention,” wrote about this theory in a Jan. 16 LSE blog post.

There’s some very bad news regarding US Airlines and their dangerous DEI programs  DEI has invaded aviation. Not as some harmless corporate trend or HR hobby. No. This dangerous new foundation is a direct slap in the face to the idea that safety comes first. Standards are now just an “idea,” and everything has become a twisted left-wing PR exercise.

Canada: 'Euthanized Against Her Will' Is a Funny Way to Say the State Murdered Her Mrs. B's case wasn't the only one in the committee's report that was sketchy. There were other patients who were approved despite not actually having the capacity to do so, including a woman who allegedly singed off on her own death by squeezing someone's hand, and man with Alzheimer's who was hospitalized with delirium but was deemed "capable" for a very brief moment while he was made to sign the paperwork.
All I have to say is that I've heard a lot of Canadians calling Donald Trump "Hitler" over the last year, but it if I recall correctly, killing people who are old or sick against their will was a Nazi Germany thing.
