For whoever would save his life will lose it...

Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? -Matthew 16:24-26

In an age when comfort and convenience are unspoken articles of our modern bill of rights, the Christian faith is not a license to entitlement, a prescription for an easy-going spirituality, or a how-to manual for self-improvement. The cross of Jesus runs crosswise to all our human ways of thinking. A rediscovery of the hard and the unpopular themes of the gospel will therefore be such a rediscovery of the whole gospel that the result may lead to reformation and revival.  -Os Guinnes

The census takes place in 2030. That’s just a few years from now, really, and when the counts happen, if they happen as they have been, there won’t be a distinction for who is here legally and illegally. People just get counted, and those numbers decide who gets how many seats in the House. It decides, more or less, where there will be the greatest density of congressional seats, such as the handful in Los Angeles or New York City alone.

Miranda Devine: The Dems’ propaganda of constant lies is getting Americans killed  The sole aim of Democrats is to punish Americans for voting Trump into office.
Dems get away with it by shamelessly lying and then pretending they are paragons of truth.
They smear ICE agents as Gestapo, white supremacists, Nazis and “secret police” — with the objective of turning the American public against them.

ICE Arrests Illegal Alien Accused of Raping 5-Yr-Old Girl in Long Island, NY   Tierney blasted New York Democrats for bail reform and also their proposals to expand the state’s sanctuary law, ensuring that law enforcement cannot communicate with ICE.
“Incredibly, up in Albany right now there are new Sanctuary laws currently under consideration that would have prevented us from even talking to federal immigration authorities,” Tierney told local media. “My message to our state legislators and governor is simple — stop protecting the rights of alleged child rapists at the expense of child victims.”

Outrage as trans illegal immigrant gets just 6-month sentence for sexual assault of NYC teen  The “extraordinarily low” six-month sentence handed to a trans illegal immigrant who admitted to sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy in Manhattan sparked outrage Wednesday from a victims’ rights group and left even former prosecutors in shock.
Legal eagles were baffled by the slap-on-the-wrist plea deal the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office struck with Nicol Alexandra Contreras-Suarez, a 31-year-old transgender woman from Colombia, in the vicious 2025 assault of a 14-year-old boy in East Harlem.

$3 Billion Pakistani Muslim Medical Fraud in 2 Years The nearly $3 billion in health care fraud also reveals a pattern of companies operating from Pakistan who are able to function as medical providers in the United States. Considering the systemic pattern of Pakistani overseas medical fraud in these past years, the Trump administration would be well served by banning foreign providers, especially from Pakistan, China and Bangladesh, from being able to bill Medicare, Medicaid or other medical providers, or play any role whatsoever in the American health care system.

'We See Islam Through Christian Glasses' — Top Philosopher Rémi Brague Exposes the Deadly Misunderstanding That Threatens the West (Video) We see Islam through Christian glasses — and that fatal delusion is blinding the West to Sharia’s total legal domination, Muhammad’s perfect (and deeply disturbing) example, the lobster-pot trap of dhimmitude, and the patient Islamization of our civilization.

FUTURE PRESIDENT IN THE MAKING: 12-Year-Old Texas Boy Drops Truth Bomb on Islam at Wylie ISD Board Meeting (Video)  In an age of weak politicians, compromised school officials, and adults terrified of being called “Islamophobic,” a 12-year-old from small-town Texas just stood up and defended Western civilization with more backbone than most members of Congress.
Leland Saunders spoke truth to power. He named the evil. He warned about the lethal force behind the “religion of peace.” He pointed to the beheadings, the oppression of women, the conquest of Dearborn, and the infiltration of our public schools.

But Britain is now a shadow of its former self, having allowed its institutions, the media, academia, and the public to be heavily influenced by Islam, which the late Christopher Hitchens described as “the most toxic form that religion can take.” Fashionable deference to Islam—the government, for example, treats even the most innocuous criticism of Islam as “hate speech”—has caused a noticeable shift in power, identity, and influence, and it may not be long before Britain becomes an Islamic state.

‘White plague’ (TB) is on the rise in the US — it’s deadlier than COVID and becoming antibiotic-resistant   Provisional data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that 10,260 tuberculosis cases were reported nationwide in 2025, including a staggering 967 in New York alone.
But the real toll could be even higher. TB symptoms are often mistaken for more common illnesses like the flu or RSV, meaning cases can be missed or treatment delayed.
Public health experts say that’s a problem in itself. The longer TB goes undiagnosed, the more it can spread, and the higher the risk that the bacteria causing it will develop antibiotic resistance to its medicines, making it harder to treat.

Pharma Bribery Corrupts Health Care, Puts Patients at Risk, New Review Warns  Together, these pharmaceutical companies, their subsidiaries, and others have reportedly paid at least $12.6 million in bribes to win drug approvals, boost sales, and secure government contracts, a new analysis of international enforcement records shows. The cases resulted in more than $1.1 billion in sanctions, often without admissions or denials of wrongdoing. Yet many alleged schemes designed to prioritize profits over patients persisted for years before they were uncovered.
From a public health perspective, the impact of pharmaceutical industry bribery extends well beyond financial penalties and corporate reputations, the study’s authors say. Corruption, they note, is harmful for patients, especially when companies seek to promote the sale of drugs with unproven or dangerous uses.

Abortion up to birth means the mass murder of baby girls UK: News that abortions are now officially legal to the point, presumably, of a pregnancy being overdue and mum suddenly not feeling the love, should be etched for ever in the national record as a crime against humanity. Shame on us.

Proposals and discussions around remote vehicle disablement -- popularly referred to as “kill switches” -- have raised further concerns. While proponents argue that such features could prevent high-speed chases or stop stolen vehicles, the existence of remote-control capabilities introduces a fundamentally different relationship between the individual and the machine. A car that can be disabled remotely is clearly not under the control of its owner.

China AI labs face growing open-source dilemma  It also underscores a new reality in Silicon Valley and beyond: startups and more established companies alike are increasingly eschewing pricey proprietary models from OpenAI and others for free or low-cost Chinese versions which are rapidly closing the performance gap despite Washington's export curbs and sanctions.
