“I will make with them a covenant of peace..."

“I will make with them a covenant of peace and banish wild beasts from the land, so that they may dwell securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods. And I will make them and the places all around my hill a blessing, and I will send down the showers in their season; they shall be showers of blessing. And the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield its increase, and they shall be secure in their land. And they shall know that I am the Lord, when I break the bars of their yoke, and deliver them from the hand of those who enslaved them. They shall no more be a prey to the nations, nor shall the beasts of the land devour them. They shall dwell securely, and none shall make them afraid. And I will provide for them a renowned place for planting so that they shall no more be consumed with hunger in the land, and no longer suffer the reproach of the nations. -Ezekiel 34:25-29

What we have been told is how we men can be drawn into Christ—can become part of that wonderful present which the young Prince of the universe wants to offer to His Father—that present which is Himself and therefore us in Him. It is the only thing we were made for. And there are strange, exciting hints in the Bible that when we are drawn in, a great many other things in Nature will begin to come right. The bad dream will be over: it will be morning.-C.S. Lewis

Families of 9/11 Victims Petition to Exclude Mamdani From Participating in 25th Year Memorial Events    Zohran Mamdani is a Muslim who shares the same ideology as those who carried out the 9/11 attacks. He has refused to condemn antisemitism; he has refused to agree that Israel as a right to exist as a Jewish state; he endorses the chant “from the river to the sea/Palestine will be free,” which, properly understood, is a call for the destruction of the Jewish state and its replacement by a 23rd Arab state; he believes, as Muhammad said, that “Islam is to dominate and not to be dominated.” He has appointed Ramzi Kassem, a defender of terrorists, to be New York City’s chief counsel. He has praised the Brooklyn Imam Siraj Wahhaj, who was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. For all of these reasons, family members of those killed on 9/11 have begun a petition calling for Mamdani to be excluded from participating in the memorial events marking the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Muslim Communist Abdul El-Sayed Wins in MI as Crowd Roars When He Drops an ‘Inshallah’ During His Election Night Speech In an absolute slap to all Americans who lived through and lost loved ones in the 9/11 terrorist attacks in 2001, Michigan Democrats elected Muslim communist Abdul El-Sayed as their nominee for the Senate in the upcoming general election. The race was tight, but El-Sayed beat out Haley Stevens (a repulsive Obama Democrat in her own right) in the end. Now he will face Republican Mike Rogers in November in a toss-up nail-biter.

For the Muslim Brotherhood in the U.S., Everything Is Going According to Plan Democrats are happily electing more and more Muslims to Congress and congratulating themselves on their commitment to “diversity.” Leftists dismiss and deride anyone who brings up Islam’s political and supremacist aspects as “Islamophobic.” Everything is going according to plan, and those who dare even to point out that there is a plan are thus marginalized and ignored.

Afghan Murdered Woman Who Helped Migrants Flood EU ‘Because She Kept Talking About Her Christian Beliefs’  Suicidal sympathy did in Elisabeth-Jane Ross, and there are countless others like her. She devoted herself, under a Christian banner no less, to helping unvetted Muslim illegals destroy Europe’s cultural identity, as well as its security and economy.

Socialist Revival In Academia...The recurring nightmare: forced collectivism and the menace of historical amnesia   In both the lecture halls and quads of America’s elite universities, a disturbing paradox unfolds. The youngest generations of students, beneficiaries of unprecedented material prosperity and intellectual liberty, actively suppress or deny the grim ledger of socialism as it was brutally implemented across the twentieth century. This phenomenon is due partly to ignorance and partly to a cultivated historical amnesia—one that imperils the very freedoms that the West still possesses, however precariously.

I have long wondered if those who lived in pre-Revolutionary America knew somehow that they were living in capital-R Revolutionary times, because I’m wondering if we’re there again...

Senate Democrats unanimously opposed legislation Wednesday requiring pornography websites to verify users’ ages before allowing access to explicit content, drawing criticism from conservatives who accused the party of siding with the pornography industry over protecting children online.

While my work in public policy requires frequent phone use, I have to be honest with myself—it frequently crosses the line into mindless distraction. Even though my social media activity has been outsourced to a contractor, many of the posts still have a “look at me” vibe as I try to build the platform of followers needed to sell a future book. Between the subtle distraction and micro self-worship, I couldn’t help but ponder, “Is Screwtape hiding in my pocket?”

Technology gives us vast tools, part of human ingenuity that images God by harnessing creation. And as the Scripture tells us, “Everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving” (1 Tim. 4:4). With technology, as with almost anything else, regulations of “Do not handle, Do not taste, Do not touch” can leave us with a legalism and asceticism that “are of no value in stopping the indulgence of the flesh” (Col. 2:21, 23).
Yet technology will make it easier and easier for you to stop thinking, to stop paying attention, to stop the renewal of your mind. Part of what it means to love is to conserve your ability to think, feel, and create. That requires paying attention to where the present age is attempting to pull you, and to map out another, harder way.
Your brain does not belong to you. It was bought with a price. Guard that trust.

‘Why would you kidnap a baby?’ Senior Hamas official challenged after claiming 'no crimes' committed on Oct 7  “Sorry, I have to interrupt there,” Morgan interjected. “When you say you don't commit crimes and you don't kill innocent civilians, we all saw what happened on October the 7th in 2023.”
“You had 3,000 members of your organization, Hamas, pour over the Israeli border and commit a series of despicable crimes in which you massacred innocent civilians all over Israel,” Morgan continued. “You then captured over 250 of them, including Holocaust survivors and a baby. So, the idea you've not committed crimes is ridiculous.”
