Just how desperate the establishment is to preserve this failing education system can be seen in a bill under consideration by the Illinois legislature. If passed, it would severely harm the growing home-school movement. The bill would require home-school families to submit forms each year to their local public school that include names, birth dates, grade levels and home addresses of their children. Families who fail to submit the forms would be subject to criminal truancy penalties. Never mind that fewer than one in three Chicago public school students can read at grade level.

Trump Admin Ends Taxpayer-Funded Housing Programs for Illegals A 2023 study from the Center for Immigration Studies revealed that nearly 60% of households headed by illegal aliens are on at least one major form of taxpayer-funded welfare, compared to 39 percent of households headed by native-born Americans.
In particular, nearly half of the households headed by illegal aliens in the United States are on food stamps, while 39 percent of such households are on Medicaid.

Trump issues executive order enforcing citizenship requirement in federal elections The executive order includes the requirement that only U.S. citizens vote in federal elections, offers assistance to states on maintaining voter rolls, and makes improvements in the Election Assistance Commission. Trump also ordered the attorney general to prosecute election crimes, take action against states that accept absentee ballots for federal elections after Election Day, and ensure that foreign nationals do not donate to federal elections or that organizations that receive federal funds do not engage in lobbying.

The disturbing things that happen when you abandon Biblical principles  Today’s news revealed a single theme, namely, the breakdown that occurs when a Western culture abandons God entirely.
The humanist Christianity that arose in the 18th century and lasted through the mid-20th century had a lot going for it regarding societal success and stability. When leftists convinced the West to overthrow Christianity entirely, a whole lot of baby went out with that bathwater. Here are the four recent stories illustrative of the harm done because we’ve allowed leftists to erase those humanist Biblical norms from our culture...

Barrett told our viewers: “Martyrdom is a continuing phenomenon, affecting roughly one in every two hundred Christians. Some time or other in their lives, that number of people will be murdered for their faith or they will lose their lives. And it’s been the same, right from the beginning. People tend to think that martyrdom belongs to the early church, the first three centuries; but it went on after that, and it is going on exactly the same rate today—0.5% per annum.”

Big Legal Victories for Trump Administration on USAID, Refugee Admissions  Left-wing activist judges are doing everything they can to sideline the Trump administration's efforts to make America safer and more efficient. This includes judges issuing injunctions that try to stop the administration from sending profligate amounts of money to progressive causes overseas and stop the unencumbered flow of illegal immigration.

A Third Of All DC District Judges Were Not Born In United States While country of origin doesn’t come up in most jobs, it is worth asking if judges with ties to foreign nations and cultures are the right ones to make decisions affecting the U.S. military or immigration.

Illegal Aliens Charged With Sexual Assault of Children in MA Are Being Released With Low Bail  For years now, we’ve listened to Democrats sanctimoniously proclaiming that ‘no one is above the law.’ The liberals who run Massachusetts might want to try proving that when it comes to protecting innocent children from assaults by people who aren’t even here legally.

The Atlantic tried to drive a wedge into Trump’s inner circle. They aimed and missed again. This story died in less than 24 hours, disintegrating so fast that all the theatrics and talking points the Democrats had prepared looked out of date and unhinged. Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO) got all twisted up, bellowing about things that Ratcliffe never said at today’s hearing.

Seattle Ended Gifted Classes for Equity But Accomplished Nothing   Top students in public schools have been leaving as they (or their parents) move their kids to private schools which still offer advanced math for advanced students.
