Add school choice to remote work and you potentially have one of the most significant social changes since the migration from farms to cities in the mid-nineteenth century, one that is being accelerated by technological advances which make it unnecessary to live near essential service providers. The most obvious example is the rise of online shopping, but Americans are also taking to online doctors, accountants, and other professionals
I’ve written before about the missing students–millions of students have just disappeared off of school rolls since COVID, and haven’t shown up in private school or home school rolls either. They just disappeared, and I am willing to bet a million dollars that much of our crime wave is related to those missing students who now roam the streets as predators.
The system in Hawaii, while often headed by Americans, is handicapped by a significant presence of ‘indigenous’ activists who may be merely neglectful or actively hostile. And there’s little question that some people of all races died because of the systemic racism of a setup that treated outsiders as despised interlopers and used informal, rather than formal, systems.
That is the story of the Maui wildfires that no one will tell. It’s the background behind the tragedy.
“This class was extremely difficult to get through if you did not think like a liberal. Instead of teaching diversity, this class taught us that being white was a bad thing,” the student complained. “We were told that we were only privileged because we are white and basically we did not actually work for what we have.”
A public health concern with potentially deadly consequences is on the rise in Virginia, health officials said, as people are testing positive for alpha-gal syndrome.
Alpha-gal syndrome (AGS) is a little-known meat allergy that is contracted through tick bites and can be life-threatening. It primarily causes hives, angioedema, upset stomach, diarrhea, stuffy or runny nose, sneezing, headaches and a drop in blood pressure, and it can even cause death, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which issued a warning about the syndrome last month.
It is known to spread through tick bites, specifically from the lone star tick, which is prevalent in Virginia, according to Julia Murphy, a state public health veterinarian with the Virginia Department of Health (VDH).
“The approximate cost of these surgeries ranges from $10,000 to $150,000,” Rokita’s office said. “This is not necessary medical treatment – it is an atrocity. This should be common sense, which is something the ACLU continuously ignores. We will not back down and will continue to back the rule of law.”
An NHS whistleblower, who wishes to remain anonymous, has come forward with allegations that the NHS hospitals were not overwhelmed during the COVID-19 pandemic, as was reported by authorities and the mainstream media.
The whistleblower also confirmed that the little care given throughout the pandemic amounted to negligence and that the government and NHS bosses essentially instructed staff to let people die, or in some cases kill them through the ‘End of Life Care’ programme and falsely label the deaths as being due to Covid-19.
“In the early days of COVID, there was understandable uncertainty. We did not yet know what we were facing. As the months unfolded, it became clear that there were two pandemics. A disease that was easy to spread and that was deadly for many vulnerable people, and a pandemic of fear stoked by ‘the expert class’ that demanded total subjugation.”
What the research found in their small cohort of participants is that children who were administered the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine saw their immune response to bacteria and viruses drop dramatically, and while the response to bacteria rebounded after 6 months, the response to viruses had not yet rebounded by the end of the study at 6 months.

40 percent of US climate emissions attributed to richest householdsA new study that analysed US household income data over the last three decades found that the bottom 90 per cent of households’ share of emissions has fallen, while the top 10 per cent’s share has increased.
The wealthiest 10 per cent are the source of 40 per cent of US national greenhouse gas emissions, according to research published in the journal PLOS Climate on 17 August 2023.
Rosen is pushing for a vote on what he calls the Gun Violence Prevention Act; a sweeping ballot measure that, if approved, would cause an almost immediate end to gun sales in the state while imposing a new per-bullet tax on ammunition and an annual registration fee for every firearm legally possessed by California gun owners.
The settlement received preliminary approval from a federal judge on Wednesday, with the District agreeing to fork over a total of $ 5.1 million. Each of the six named plaintiffs will receive $50,000 under the terms of the agreement, with a larger class of affected gun owners divvying up several million dollars between them.

Hence, it should come as no surprise that a recent report issued by Stanford University finds that between the 2018-19 and 2021-22 school years, “the share of students chronically absent (missing 10% or greater of the total number of days enrolled during the school year) grew by 13.5 percentage points—a 91-percent increase that implies an additional 6.5 million students are now chronically absent.” The findings also note that chronic absenteeism has affected every state, varying from 4% to 22%.
Anthony Chabot Elementary School in Oakland, California, is reportedly hosting a “playdate social” for children from every racial and ethnic background besides white. “If your family identifies as Black, Brown, or API or are [sic] a parent/caregiver of a Black, Brown, or API student. A shooter killed a faculty member in a science building at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on Monday, police said after a lockdown paralyzed the campus community as authorities searched for a suspect.
Police arrested the suspect about an hour and a half after the initial reports of shots fired came in from Caudill Labs, officials said at a news conference. Charges were pending, and the suspect was not immediately identified.
A Christian ministry claiming it was "debanked" by Bank of America filed a consumer complaint this week to Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti to determine whether their accounts were closed due to religious discrimination.

The nature of community is changing. The old village has gone. One can lament the passing of parish churches and village pubs, but the type of community that birthed them has gone forever. But the human need for community—rich, real, personal community—will exist as long as our individual identities are tied up with looking into the faces of those who are “bone of our bone and flesh of our flesh.” In other words, that need will exist as long as we are human beings made in God’s image. And the answer is hospitality. Churches and Christians need to think about what this looks like in our modern world as much as they think about other aspects of the faith. And the good news is that the very things Christian decry in our current culture, from its superficiality to its instability to its hopelessness—make this a time of unparalleled opportunity.

FEMA Holds Employee Trainings on ‘White Supremacy’ As More Than 1,000 Hawaiians Remain MissingThe federal government agency tasked with leading the response to natural disasters has its hands full as more than 1,000 Americans remain missing following wildfires that devastated the Hawaiian island of Maui. FEMA nonetheless is mandating a three-hour diversity training for employees that argues, among other things, that white supremacy is "ingrained in nearly every system and institution in the U.S."
And car after car was turned back toward the rapidly spreading wildfire by a barricade blocking access to Highway 30.
One family swerved around the barricade and was safe in a nearby town 48 minutes later, another drove their four-wheel-drive car down a dirt road to escape. One man took a dirt road uphill, climbing above the fire and watching as Lahaina burned. He later picked his way through the flames, smoke and rubble to pull survivors to safety.
If the new background checks are implemented on schedule, New York will become just the second state in the nation (behind California) to require background checks on the sale of ammunition. Originally passed as part of the SAFE Act in 2012, the ammo background check mandate was put on ice a few years later when the state police said it was unfeasible to implement. California’s ammunition background check requirement, meanwhile, has led to tens of thousands of false denials for legal gun owners.
When the board announced that the school would begin using the “Pride storybooks,” it promised parents that they would be notified when the books would be read and that they could choose not to have their children read them. But in March of this year, the board told parents that they would not be notified when the books were used and that they could no longer have their children opt out. Becket Law said that one board member told parents that the move was justified because allowing parent to opt their children out of the books that “offend your religious rights or your family values or your core beliefs is just telling [your] kid, ‘Here’s another reason to hate another person.’”
The people elected and selected to run Portland, Oregon, are like kids who get their first car and never think to change the oil. The V-safe website simply states: “Thank you for your participation. Data collection for COVID-19 vaccines concluded on June 30, 2023.” If you go there today, V-safe directs users to the FDA’s VAERS website for adverse event reporting, even though officials continually derided VAERS as “passive” and “unverified.”...
...Does this mean that the CDC believes that the mRNA Covid-19 injections are so safe, there is no need to monitor adverse event reports any longer? What is the argument against continued monitoring, especially since the V-safe website was already up and paid for?
If the government ever does get to the bottom of how much COVID aid was stolen, we probably won’t be alive to see it.

A Forbes report has revealed that the Biden Administration attempted to forge a contractual agreement with TikTok that would have allowed the government to control features of the Chinese app to spy on Americans.
Forbes managed to get hold of a draft of the contract between TikTok and the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) that would have essentially allowed multiple US agencies to access the app’s records and operations in exchange for allowing it to continue operating in the U.S.

Across the state, Californians are witnessing the total breakdown of society – primarily, and noticeably confined to larger cities. Scenes of drug addled homeless vagrants living in tents along city sidewalks play out daily. Public sex acts and open drug deals have become ho hum – “avert your eyes, kids.” Smash and grab thefts are becoming routine news reports. Daily news reports of “sex trafficking” fail to elicit anger – “that’s just awful,” people say. And then they scroll to the next article.
The one area of concern many people quietly acknowledge in whispered tones is the new-normal of living in fear of the government.
From the White House to the State House, and to City Hall, people in California and other blue states are fearful because of politicians and leftists who won’t let them defend themselves, their children, their homes, businesses, churches and schools.

WHY is that important? Oh, yeah. The legal reasoning behind the decision is sound. It was the correct decision. But the media and left have to keep the outrage. It just so happens the South Carolina Supreme Court consists of only males.
