AI-dolatry: A Church in Texas Holds Completely Bot-Generated Service  There is nothing wrong with loving your neighbor with whom you may have severe disagreements and finding God in the midst of tragedy. That is sound theology. But turning to AI to interact with the Almighty? That is the textbook definition of idolatry, and I’ve read plenty of textbooks on the matter. It is a clear violation of the Second Commandment. Clearly, there are no graven images, but the crux of that commandment is that human beings have no business defining who God is.

Experts predicted an uptick in tuberculosis cases after the Covid-19 pandemic hindered efforts to diagnose and treat cases.

That was magnified by the arrival of more than 100,000 migrants to New York City since spring 2022. Migrants are at heightened risk of developing an active tuberculosis infection since the disease can spread especially quickly in the kinds of congregate settings where the city is housing them.

Good of you to finally notice. Also noted was that Kristersson had met with an American official to get advice on crime-fighting. Which official? Hilariously enough, New York Mayor Eric Adams, under whose lax, incompetent leadership the Big Apple has descended into anarchy.

Newsweek noted that each of the threats listed by federal authorities is closely associated with the MAGA Republicans who support Trump.

Moreover, the news outlet reported that the FBI released a report titled “Domestic Violent Extremists Emboldened in Aftermath of Capitol Breach, Elevated Domestic Terrorism Threat of Violence Likely Amid Political Transitions and Beyond” in the aftermath of the Capitol riot.

In the FBI’s report, the agency changed the definition of “anti-government, anti-authority violent extremism” (AGAAVE) from “furtherance of ideological agendas” to “furtherance of political and/or social agendas.”

Groundbreaking Win For Parents: WI State Court Rules Against School's Secret Gender Transitioning Policy   In a groundbreaking win for parents’ rights, Wisconsin’s Waukesha County Circuit Court blocked the Kettle Moraine School District’s gender transitioning policy. The court held the school could not “refer to students using a name or pronouns at odds with the student’s biological sex, while at school, without express parental consent.”

The school’s policy “violates parents’ constitutional right to determine the appropriate medical and healthcare for their children,” the court ruled.

Philadelphia Area School District Bans Biological Boys In Girls’ Bathrooms After 400 Students Walk Out In Protest   The decision followed weeks of controversy after a father said his daughter was distressed over believing a boy was with her in a high school girls’ restroom and was no longer using the school bathrooms because she was too afraid.

“There is zero reason for someone with male genitalia to be in the girls’ facilities,” the father told the school board last month. “It’s a simple matter of biology, safety, personal space.”

Parents and Doctors are Sounding the Alarm.  Planned Parenthood is one of the largest providers of cross-sex hormones in the United States, and one of the fastest growing. Affiliates in the greater Portland area saw a nearly 400 percent increase in "gender-affirming care visits" between 2021 and 2022, according to their annual reports, while those in Ohio saw a 544 percent increase over the same period. Hormones now appear to be in higher demand than abortion at some branches: A Planned Parenthood in Knoxville, Tenn., told NPR that nearly a fifth of its patients sought hormone therapy in 2021, whereas abortion makes up just 3 percent of Planned Parenthood’s services nationally.

Now, the CDC has stopped printing the cards because the federal government is no longer in charge of COVID-19 vaccine distribution.
