The U.S. Air Force Is in Serious Decline 

The active duty Air Force missed its FY 2023 recruiting goals by 11 percent. Its Air Reserve component fell short by 30 percent. The chief of Air Force recruiting said the numbers would have been much worse had the service not changed its policies regarding drug use, body composition, age, and the like. While some deny that equates to lower standards, it most certainly brings them into question.

Why Join the Military to Defend Everyone Except Americans?   The Washington War Party continues to spend wildly to dominate the globe, threat of national insolvency be damned. However, the challenge of finding young men and women willing to act as sentinels for a conflict-filled global empire is proving more daunting. If Americans increasingly refuse to serve, the Pentagon will have to do more than the policy equivalent of adjusting the deck chairs of the Titanic. Republicans and Democrats alike might have to again put America’s defense first.

The FAA is seeking people suffering from "severe intellectual and psychiatric disabilities" to be air traffic controllers.   But nowhere does the FAA explain how hiring ATCs with, for example, “severe intellectual or psychiatric disabilities” will enhance its mission of securing the skies, preventing catastrophes, and safeguarding the lives of pilots, passengers and others.

So, if you are a somewhat stupid (i.e., suffering from a “severe intellectual disability”) epileptic dwarf, with a severe psychiatric disability, who cannot see or hear very well, do not be discouraged. Even with those disabilities and even if you are not fluent in English (although it is the universal language for commercial pilots and air traffic controllers), you apparently may still become an air traffic controller.

Hamas fighters surrender in droves, and their photos tell an interesting story 

Here’s the truth: Gazans wholeheartedly support Hamas. Most of the military-aged men in Gaza participate in Hamas in one way or another, with a large number of them serving as fighters. They shelter their men and weapons in and under civilian enclaves to optimize deaths among women and children for propaganda purposes. What food there is goes to the men first. It’s unclear how much is left for those women and children.

Finally, and typically, when they are ascendant, the Arabs fight with sadistic ferocity. Meanwhile, when things aren’t going well, they’ll quickly give in.

CAIR Executive Director: 'I was Happy to See' Hamas Terror Attack on Israel on October 7  CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) Executive Director Nihad Awad gushed over Hamas and the massacre of Jews at the American Muslims for Palestine convention in Chicago.

Awad disguised his admiration for Hamas by using “Gaza” and the vague word “people” to describe the terrorists.

The Crippling Economic Costs of Green Energy Subsidies  The envisioned spending and subsidies for green energy, several hundred billion dollars annually just for wind and solar generation, will distort energy markets.  First, they will crowd out more productive private investment in the energy sector and reduce the resources available for more efficient forms of generation, especially small modular reactors.  Second, as the deficit increases further, higher interest rates will crowd out private investment in more productive private sectors of the economy.

Along with the Administration’s push to “electrify” the economy, such as higher vehicle mileage standards that act as a de facto mandate for electric vehicles and proposed bans on natural gas appliances, the result, as has been experienced in Europe, will be soaring electricity prices.  Those higher prices will reduce economic growth and employment, far more so than the green energy investments can boost it.  Although the subsidies will benefit wind and solar developers, but the overall economic impacts for the country will be crippling.
