Infectious Diseases Brought to a City Near You; Does Fiducia Supplicans Affirm Heresy? ...more

The U.S. Navy is massively outgunned in the South China Sea.   We need to take stock soberly of our position and correct the policy errors that left us without the capacity to produce enough 155mm shells to supply our allies, let alone make hypersonic missiles. We need a defense driver for high-tech R&D and manufacturing on the scale of the Kennedy Moonshot and Reagan’s Strategic Defense Initiative. I proposed a plan for accomplishing this in a 2023 monograph for the Claremont Institute, “Restoring American Manufacturing: A Practical Guide.” I am confident that this is the right policy, because we have done it three times before: During World War II, during the 1960s, and during the 1980s. What we have done before, we can do again. We cannot stop the rise of China. But we can rise faster.

Infectious Diseases Brought to a City Near You, Courtesy of DHS...At the top of the list is failure to protect the nation from the contagious, life-threatening diseases coming across our southern border.    "DHS has no protocols in place to randomly sample all a portion of all persons coming across the border for all the potential diseases that these persons might have. They are placed in a vector-rich environment with poor circulation and ten times too many people inside at many of these detention centers, with plastic drapes that trap viruses. These same people are being immediately put on buses and airplanes to further increase the spread of disease before being dropped off in most towns and major urban centers across our country. There is no effort to inform counties or cities what are the health challenges they are facing, and no requirement, like are required of Green Card applicants who are living in the same areas across the country as are the 10's of millions coming into our country across our southern border.

EU “Suicide Pact” Threatens to Flood Continent With 75 Million More Migrants   Member states will be forced to accept migrants or pay a massive financial penalty of €25,000 per migrant.
This makes little sense given that we’re constantly reminded of how mass migration is such an economic boon and is both inevitable and vital to maintaining GDP levels. Image

For all these reasons, Fiducia Supplicans must be considered doctrinally problematic, for it contains a denial of Catholic doctrine. For this reason, it is also problematic from a pastoral point of view. In fact, a good pastor approaches every person in difficulty as a teacher of God’s commandments, recommends him to God’s prayer, and, in the case of grave sin, leads him to repentance, confession, and renewal of life through forgiveness in sacramental absolution. What he will never do in the pastoral care of Catholics in irregular sexual relationships is to draw analogies between God’s blessing for the marriage of man and woman and a so-called non-liturgical blessing for persons in sinful relationships. In the case of two persons living in an irregular situation, what pastoral reason is there for blessing the persons together rather than as individuals? Why would these persons want to be blessed together, if not because they want God’s approval of their union? To bless them together, therefore, is to confirm them in their sin and thus alienate them from God. (by Gerhard Cardinal Müller at First Things)

St. Patrick's Cathedral Holds Blasphemous LGBTQ Funeral Service for ‘Trans’ Activist   On Thursday, February 15, a crowd of LGBTQ activists held a funeral for Cecilia Gentili at the historic St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City, New York. Gentili was “a transgender activist and actress, former sex worker and self-professed atheist,” according to the New York Times. Gentili passed away on February 6 at age 52.

The funeral service did not include the Mass. Fr. Edward Dougherty officiated at the funeral service and reportedly did not mention anything of Gentili’s background while presiding.
Over 1,000 mourners, several hundred of whom were transgender, arrived in daring outfits — glittery miniskirts and halter tops, fishnet stockings, sumptuous fur stoles and at least one boa sewed from what appeared to be $100 bills.

Mass cards and a picture near the altar showed a haloed Ms. Gentili surrounded by the Spanish words for “transvestite,” “whore,” “blessed” and “mother” above the text of Psalm 25.

Cardinal of Vatican orgy fame takes part in 'historic' meeting with Italian Freemasons  Despite the Church's condemnation of the secret society, leading Catholic prelates including Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio, known for his attendance at the infamous cocaine-fueled homosexual orgy at the Vatican in 2017, met with Freemasons on Friday.

National MS Society Dumps Elderly, Lifelong Volunteer Because She Asked What Pronouns Were   In response to what happened to Fran Itkoff, many have said they will no longer donate to the MS Society and are looking to put their money into groups that are focused more on finding the cure for MS than on forcing DEI down the throats of their dedicated, hard-working volunteers...

Proposed 'genderful' school designed for young children to 'explore their gender' in 'affirming' environment   The Miss Mayor Middle, a proposed, tuition-free public charter school, has recently sparked backlash for attempting to create an educational institution that would "prioritize total inclusivity by ensuring that policies and resources are designed with and for trans, gender-nonconforming, queer and ally students and families."

Children as young as nine years old, in grades five through nine, would be encouraged to "explore their gender, embrace their own identity, and decide how they will authentically walk through the world."

Britain was once a polite society, famed for its citizens’ constant apologising and queueing. Such features are possible only amid a cohesive and high-trust environment. That average shops in average towns now must put up with relentless anti-social behaviour and theft is a sign that such niceties are going the way of the dodo.

We have become a society that indulges poor behaviour and forever comes up with exogenous excuses for vile deeds instead of holding individuals accountable for their actions.
