President Joe Biden to visit Syracuse following $6.1 billion Micron grant news  This visit will require heavy police presence and man hours, presenting a massive challenge for local law enforcement who are shattered following the deaths of Syracuse Police Officer Michael Jensen and Onondaga County Lt. Sheriff's Deputy Michael Hoosock, the latter of whom was laid to rest on Monday.
Local lawmakers shared with CNY Central Friday they are unhappy about the timing of the presidential visit, supporting law enforcement's request to postpone the visit so officers have time to rest and grieve.

School failed to prevent attack by trans student with 'hit list' despite warnings  The middle schooler said that the girl who was attacked didn't see it coming, as her back was to the trans student. Emily remembered hearing "terrible loud bangs" as the assailant hit the girl in the head with the Stanley cup.
The student known as "Melanie" grabbed the girl by the hair and continued to beat her with the cup as blood went "everywhere," Emily said. As he hit the girl with the cup, the boy repeatedly yelled, "I'm going to murder you!"
The middle school student added that the attack lasted 28 minutes, not eight minutes, as the school board had claimed in an email.

West Prep Academy, a NYC Middle School, Boots Special Needs Students to Make Way for Migrant Kids West Prep Academy, a New York City middle school with a significant percentage of special needs students, is planning on sending them to an unsafe 127-year-old building to make room for migrant kids. The school, in which 43 percent of students have special needs, and 90 percent are Black or Latino, shares a building with PS 145, which has been inundated with a surge in enrollment of migrant children.“This building is not equipped to house students with special needs [or] students that don’t have any special needs — it’s not equipped, it’s 127 years old,” said Denise Johnson, a parent of a West Prep Academy sixth-grader. “The issue is we are coming from a building that is substantial, with all [the] equipment to service their students to a building that lacks resources.”

A more recent incident which got a lot of attention was the decision to hold a protest at the home of Berkley's law school dean Erwin Chemerinsky. This came a few days after the protest group posted an image of Chemerinsky with blood dripping from a knife and fork in his hands. In a recent statement to the Nation, Chemerinsky expressed shock to see this kind of behavior coming from the left.

You use that fame to push the LGBTQ agenda, of course!
The “iconic” children’s show is “making history” by introducing Lesbian moms!
How nice…..
How edgy!
How diverse!

In their latest assessment of Pyongyang’s weapons of mass destruction, the US said the mysterious state ruled by Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un has developed sprays and ‘poison pens’ which can spread deadly diseases.
The weapons are said to be designed to spread germs such as smallpox and anthrax which some experts believe is more dangerous than Kim Jong-un’s nuclear weapons programme.

Offshore Wind Turbines are Disastrous for Maine Fishermen, Marine Life   A group of more than a dozen fisher organizations is sounding the alarm on a massive area of ocean about two times the size of Rhode Island, reserved for erecting floating wide turbines. Such turbines are always expensive, toxic, unreliable, and inefficient, but in this case the turbines will be disastrous for the Maine fishing industry and do potentially permanent damage to marine species. During a media call Monday, fisherman Jason Joyce and Roda Fisheries executive director Annie Hawkins explained why the wind turbine craze in government and business presents practically no benefit aside from enriching oligarchs.

To Celebrate Earth Day, The White House Locks Off More Alaskan Earth From American Use  Last week, the Biden administration celebrated “Earth Day” early by announcing it will unilaterally rope off millions of acres across Alaska from development and other local uses. On Friday, the Department of the Interior (DOI) issued twin rulings to impose “maximum protections” banning oil exploration in 13 million acres in the western Arctic and deny permits for a 211-mile road the state wanted to build to a colossal copper deposit worth an estimated $7.5 billion.
