Democrat donor from Alaska charged with threatening to assassinate 6 Supreme Court justices  On Wednesday, an Alaska man was arrested and charged with nine counts of making threats against a federal judge and 13 counts of making threats in interstate commerce after he allegedly made threats to assassinate six members of the Supreme Court and two family members. 
   Panos Anastasiou, 76, has been accused of sending over 465 messages through an online portal to the Supreme Court between March 10, 2023 and July 16, 2024. Beginning on January 4, 2024, Anastasiou "began sending messages intended to threaten harm and convey threats of harm towards Supreme Court Justices 1- 6 and Family Members 1 and 2," a court filing stated. The events of the last few years have confirmed that we are no longer a democracy in the sense that we once thought we were – and I know we’re a republic, but follow along with me. The premise of a democracy is that individual citizens can participate in the political process by making their positions known and voting for representatives who they understand will support their views. But those components are under attack here and throughout the West. They are under attack because our garbage elite considers our participation in our own governance to be both morally illegitimate and a practical nuisance. As a result, the elite is doing everything it can to prevent us from participating in our own governance. It’s intent to make us into serfs, disarmed, disenfranchised serfs who obey in silence.

It’s Not Just Haitians In Springfield. Mass Immigration Is Destroying The American Nation  The argument here is not that families from Haiti or Venezuela or the farthest reaches of the world cannot become American. Of course they can — and have. But America today is fast losing its common culture, its sense of shared purpose and way of life, the very things that might make it cohere as a nation and be the sort of place that could assimilate new arrivals instead of being Balkanized. This is happening because the Christian religion that bequeathed us our civilization and formed us from the beginning is now disappearing from among us Americans. Without it, we might as well be a tax farm for the global elite, with insular ethnic and religious enclaves across America that sacrifice animals and practice vodou, or support Hamas and Hezbollah, and generally make no effort to become American. We will certainly not be a common people or a nation.

Biden’s student debt forgiveness plan to remain blocked, federal judge orders  The continuation of the restraining order is the latest setback for the Biden administration’s efforts to cancel people’s federal student loans. President Joe Biden began promising to alleviate people’s education debts during his 2020 campaign bid, but Republican legal challenges have consistently stymied his attempts.  
   The development stems from a lawsuit against the president’s aid package brought by seven GOP-led states earlier this month. The states — Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, North Dakota and Ohio — said the U.S. Department of Education’s new debt cancellation effort, like its previous attempts, is illegal.

Pushback: Pastor who was arrested in Seattle for reading the Bible aloud wins in court  In 2022 Pastor Matthew Meinecke was arrested two different times by the Seattle police when he attended pro-abortion rallies and simply stood in the crowd and read the Bible aloud. What was worse was that when he was attacked by the pro-abortion protesters the police arrested him, not the attackers.

Retired Border Patrol Chief: Biden-Harris Admin Has Tried to Hide Mass Release of Migrants into U.S.   “Border Patrol zones across Texas, Arizona, and California had no agent presence for weeks and months at a time,” Heitke said. “Those who did not want to be caught could simply walk in. We have no idea who and what entered our country over this time. Throughout 2022 and 2023 I sent agents to Texas and Arizona to count gotaways. “All religions are paths to God,” Pope Francis said. “I will use an analogy: they are like different languages that express the divine. But God is for everyone, and therefore, we are all God’s children. ’But my God is more important than yours!’ Is this true? There is only one God, and religions are like languages, paths to reach God. Some Sikh, some Muslim, some Hindu, some Christian.”
These remarks wouldn’t be shocking if coming from Universalists or even academics in the bowels of our secular institutions — people who patently deny the historic and theologically unique nature of Christianity.

Feds and State AG Investigate an Alleged Human Trafficking Empire Run in Springfield, Ohio, for Years by ‘King George’   What started as a bizarre claim about migrants eating pets led me to uncover the dark and disturbing truth of a labor trafficking operation. The people of Springfield, both locals and migrants, have become casualties in the pursuit of profit. The kindness and hope I witnessed stand in stark contrast to the greed and cruelty of those at the top. Springfield may be just one town, but its story reflects a national crisis of exploitation that must be addressed.

This time around, the researchers added one key variable that the 2020 researchers had overlooked — low birth weights — and the whole thing collapsed. The research design contained a fatal flaw, overlooking the fact that severely underweight babies, who have very high mortality rates to start with, tend to be treated by white doctors. Physicians who handle the most serious medical cases tend to see higher death rates.
  It’s no exaggeration to say that this level of scholarly error raises serious questions about the hundreds of peer-reviewed studies published in the past five years that documented the prevalence of systemic racism in the medical profession and implicit bias among white doctors. Could the research design of those papers, some of which have been cited hundreds of times in subsequent papers, also have been flawed, so as to advance a progressive political agenda cloaked in the authority of objective science?
