Is the Jig Up for Elite Higher Education? -VD Hanson 
Over the last three decades, elite American universities have engaged in economic, political, social, and cultural practices that were often unethical, illegal—and suicidal.
   They did so with impunity.
   Apparently, confident administrators assumed that the brand of Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, and other elite universities was so precious to the nation’s elite movers and shakers that they could always do almost anything they wished.
   By the 1970s, non-profit universities had dropped pretenses that they were apolitical and non-partisan.

Islam Is Inconsistent With The U.S. Constitution 
Islamic law (sharia) mandates punishments that directly violate U.S. constitutional protections, including:
  • Execution for apostasy (violating freedom of religion)
  • Punishment for blasphemy (violating freedom of speech)
  • Legal inferiority for women and non-Muslims (violating equal protection under the law)
  • Supremacy of Islamic law over national law (violating the Constitution’s Supremacy Clause)
The Constitution prohibits the government from restricting legitimate religious practice, but it also does not require it to extend protections to belief systems that subvert constitutional rights and undermine the very freedoms it exists to uphold...

Federal appeals court allows Trump to reinstate two executive orders regarding DEI  The orders directed federal agencies and government contractors to eliminate diversity programs, and instructed the Justice Department and other agencies to identify businesses, schools and nonprofits that may be discriminating via DEI.

Secretary Bessent on ‘Reprivatization’ of Economy: ‘We Are Laser-Focused on Getting this Deficit Under Control’   “One of the reasons I came out from behind my desk and asked President Trump if I could join the campaign — and then when he asked me to be in the Cabinet — was because I was so alarmed by this high level of government spending,” Bessent told Breitbart News when asked about this vision. “We’ve never seen anything like this. Highest level ever when we weren’t in a war and a recession. So, the Biden administration relied on this blowout spending. Back to the mainstream media, no one criticized it when they were doing it. It was for the greater good, it was for green programs, it was for this, it was for overseas engagement. We’re going to do that by cutting spending, we’ll get a natural lowering of interest rates, and then on the other side as we relever the private sector, we plan to deregulate the banking system, which is one of the other things I talked about at the Economic Club of New York last week."
