What is the problem? Why do so many teachers quit? What can be done to improve the public school system, if at all? The main problem, as I see it, is that teachers are no longer valued. They’re appreciated a couple of times a year, but they’re not valued. Teachers are interchangeable. Today, teachers are seen as the hired help. If one quits, you just find another. No big deal. My school district, the district I graduated from, did not see me as a teacher. I was a babysitter at a “problem school.” The district would never say that in public, but that was the very clear implication. 
   Students are believed over teachers. Teachers are expected to solve all the problems thrown at them without help or backup and without stopping the lesson.

Americans were unique in sacrificing their treasure and lives to found the first country in history, establishing that all people have natural rights that come from God rather than from rulers or government. The Declaration of Independence affirmed the equality of all people and that they were endowed with unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And just because it took 200 years for that entire vision to be fully realized, it does not diminish the founding based on those ideals. In fact, Americans should be both grateful and proud of the 5000-year miracle of their country being the first in human history to establish that it was the people and not the State who had sovereign and unalienable rights—the Bill of Rights.

It’s amazing, the insanity leftists can get away with today  We need only to look at the disgusting behavior of Luigi Mangione “fans,” cheering for that backshooting murderer outside the courtroom where he’s being tried, to recognize the cultural depravity that has gripped our country.  Furthermore, when we see the rise of antisemitism in the Democrat party, and in the podcasts of some so-called conservative Republicans, it’s a chilling reminder of how quickly people forget what such bigotry leads to.  President Trump didn’t forget.  His support of the Jewish community is further enhanced by his strong, unapologetic alliance with Israel.  Additionally, his focus on combating Jewish hatred on college campuses is in direct opposition to left-wing dogma. 

The moral norm in American society has shifted during the years from 1910 to the present, but especially during the past 50 years.  The link between being a “good citizen” and a “moral person” has atrophied, and we find ourselves in a decline, where so-called “good citizens” are regularly engaged in behaviors that in earlier decades were considered immoral or illegal.  Bad behavior is now “not so bad,” and crimes are often believed to be merely “adjustment problems.”  This shift in cultural values and norms has divided the population to the point where the more moral people tend to be older and deem younger generations less than moral.

A collapsing Europe shows where Democrat policies will take America   When the Soviet Union collapsed, and America’s defense spending waned, the true costs of socialism began to be clear: The economies became sluggish; the birthrates collapsed, necessitating importing third world, usually Muslim, labor; the social services started imploding, especially because those same third worlders drained the systems, despite never having contributed to them; soft on crime policies destroyed civilized society; and the brain rot of socialism saw Europe embrace the madcap, self-destructive idea of Net Zero carbon output, which has seen Europe retreat from the modern world into a cold, dark, pre-modern time.
   All of this is what today’s Marxist Democrats want for America.

   The authors of the jargon-infused report employed the linguistic tactics so common among those attempting to lead people to question their closely held beliefs.

The Nigerian government has responded to decades of this violence with promises, investigations, military deployments which arrive after one massacre and leave before the next, and periodic statements expressing concern. The pattern is identical in village after village. Militants arrive at night. They know the community is unarmed. They kill men, women and children. They burn homes and churches. They steal cattle and land. The army shows up days later. Nothing changes. The militants move on to the next village.

When doctors spend more time serving systems than serving patients, medicine changes. When physicians are afraid to speak honestly, medicine changes. When throughput quietly shapes bedside decisions, medicine changes. When documentation matters more than human presence, medicine changes. And when physicians slowly begin feeling emotionally trapped inside giant institutional systems that they no longer control, we should probably stop calling that burnout because burnout does not adequately describe what many doctors now feel. It feels more like captivity.
