What our educational system aims to produce is cultural amnesia, a wholesale lack of curiosity, history-less free agents, and educational goals composed of content-free processes and unexamined buzz-words like “critical thinking,” “diversity,” “ways of knowing,” “social justice,” and “cultural competence.”
   Our students are the achievement of a systemic commitment to producing individuals without a past for whom the future is a foreign country, cultureless ciphers who can live anywhere and perform any kind of work without inquiring about its purposes or ends, perfected tools for an economic system that prizes “flexibility” (geographic, interpersonal, ethical). Immigrants like my ancestors used to come to America looking for jobs and better work opportunities, but now it seems as if many of them come just for freebies. And Democrats rely on foreigners for cheap labor and election fraud, plus they also hate any restriction on the redistribution of wealth because that is how they keep people dependent on the government.

   The deranged duo is joining 21 other state AGs in suing the Trump administration for tightening up the “public charge” rules that require new Americans to stand on their own two feet.

U.S. Supreme Court to rule on home Bible studies, as local officials weaponize against gatherings  The American Center for Law and Justice has fought this battle several times: Can a government forbid a home-based Bible study because it is in a home, or because of the number of people attending, or another reason?
   And when a government successfully defeats a plan to have in-home worship, can it escape liability simply by claiming it never, really, finally, issued a rejection notice?

State Seizes Girl After Catholic Parents Refuse To Call Her A Boy   The Kutzkos are still in court. A school started a secret social transition. The state took the girl, isolated her from her faith, and now wants to inject testosterone. That is not safeguarding. It is the state substituting itself for the family.
   Any district that hides name and pronoun changes from parents should lose federal dollars until the policy is reversed. Parents - not counselors, not DCF, not activist charities - direct the upbringing of their children.

Another Male Inmate Is Abusing Women in Minnesota Prisons. Will Authorities Do Anything About It?  Now in Minnesota, another man named Daniel Benz is abusing women in prison, including exposing himself and writing "poetry" about rape. Those women fear reporting him because they worry prison staff will retaliate against them.

A disabled 2-year-old child has been euthanized in the Netherlands, even though the toddler was not dying. But that didn’t stop Dutch officials from confirming that everything was done legally.
   A Dutch review committee has concluded that a doctor acted with due care in the country’s first euthanasia of a child under 12: a nearly 2-year-old with severe disabilities whose life was ended late last year.
   The child was almost 24 months old and could not communicate. The child did not — and could not — ask to die.
