The Remaking of America; Whither the Weather?...more
The Remaking of America...We are in the midst of one of the most radical revolutions in American history. We are in the midst of one of the most radical revolutions in American history. It is as far-reaching and dangerous as the turbulent years of the 1850s and 1860s or the 1930s. Every aspect of American life and culture is under assault, including the very processes by which we govern ourselves, and the manner in which we live.
The Revolution began under the Obama administration that sought to divide Americans into oppressed and oppressors, and then substitute race for class victimization. It was empowered by the bicoastal wealth accrued from globalization, and honed during the COVID lockdown, quarantine-fed economic downturn, and the George Floyd riots and their aftermath. The Revolution was boosted by fanatic opposition to the presidency of Donald Trump. And the result is an America that is unrecognizable from what it was a mere decade ago.

Many U.S. hospitals are struggling to find chemotherapy drugs, antibiotics and other lifesaving treatments amid an escalating nationwide drug shortage crisis, as experts increasingly call for federal government action.

Almost all hospitals in the survey say patient care is affected in some way.

Recently, a shocking assault on Christians — and their beliefs — was perpetrated by an elected Chilliwack School District #33 Trustee Teri Westerby, a biological female who identifies as transgender.
It’s an ominous sign when school board trustees, who have a great deal of direct influence over the learning environment of impressionable school children, explicitly demonstrate contempt for, and hurl abuse at, Christians, many of whom are the very students under their influence.

The Supreme Court of Canada has declined to hear appeals from churches in Ontario and British Columbia that challenged pandemic restrictions on in-person worship. The churches had been fined hundreds of thousands of dollars for violating gathering limits.
Pastor Henry Hildebrandt of the Church of God in Aylmer, Ontario, expressed his disappointment over the court’s decision Friday.
“Truly a sad day for liberty and justice in Canada,” tweeted Hildebrandt. “The Supreme Court refuses to even hear our case, which directly affects freedom of religion, assembly, and speech in Canada. … Not entirely surprising, but very disappointing.”
