Catholic clergy should pay heed to the apparent vicar-assisted suicide of the CofE lest, like the priests at my own local Church of the Queer Cross, they are tempted to follow their absurd, self-defeating, progressive methods. Redesigning the whole experience of Mass for the main benefit of those who do not actually believe in Christianity at all is unlikely to entice them into the pews as, by definition, they are just not churchgoers. Instead, all it is likely to do is put actual Christians off and transform them from regular worshippers into the precise opposite. Just ask that little old lady I know.

Through its adoption and outright promotion of neo-Marxist ideologies including DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion), the military has sacrificed efficiency, ruthlessness, and strength for LGBT celebrations, racial politics, and climate alarmism. A look into the backgrounds of President Biden’s many military nominees shows the primary focus of the Pentagon’s leading figures isn’t defeating communist China or protecting Americans from other international threats, it’s crafting a “diverse” and “inclusive” social club where leftist lunacy is treated as gospel and conservative “wrongthink” as extreme.

All Over America, Blue Cities Are Facing A Severe Shortage Of Police Officers  It turns out that we really do need the police after all.  Do you remember a few years ago when blue cities all over the nation wanted to defund the police?  Needless to say, that didn’t work out too well.  Wherever police budgets were slashed, crime rates shot up.  Today, we are in the midst of a massive crime wave that is sweeping the country.  In fact, it has gotten so bad that even many our most liberal politicians are desperate to restore law and order.  But that won’t be so easy, because after everything that has transpired blue cities are discovering that they are having a really difficult time finding enough warm bodies to serve in their crime-ridden communities.

Biden-Appointed Judge Rules Religious Parents Can’t Opt Kids Out Of Pro-LGBT School Lessons  Perhaps the most bizarre part of Boardman’s opinion is her opinion that “the plaintiffs’ asserted due process right to direct their children’s upbringing by opting out of a public-school curriculum that conflicts with their religious views is not a fundamental right.” Professor Helen Alvaré of the George Mason University Scalia School of Law would beg to differ. In a recent law review article, she explains that teaching on “familial relations” is part and parcel of instilling and transmitting the faith itself — and anything that interferes with it interferes with the liberty and free exercise rights of parents.

We used to at least have some moral leverage with the rest of the planet, but that’s been squandered. It’s bad when you are being called “a banana republic” by literal banana republics. It’s pretty hard to explain to some potentate how the apparent hypocrisy of calling for democracy even as you lock up anyone on the other side attempting to participate in said democracy is not actually hypocrisy since Donald Trump is like Hitler, only a million times worse. Heck, just look at how mean those tweets are!

Push for EVs Is the Most Ill-Conceived Government Policy Objective in Modern History  This was according to Ron Ross, a former economics professor and author of “The Unbeatable Market.” Ross said the push to convert or turn in internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles for their electric counterparts is a hopeless Democrat-led environmentalist goal.

Ross added that the transition has no chance of success because it is full of various deal breakers, including how EVs are prone to causing accidents and other safety issues.
