Dechurched America: 40 million worshippers no longer attend; Taliban Has Detained an American and 18 Others for Promoting 'Christianity'...more

Dechurched America: 40 million worshippers no longer attend   The US is unusually religious by Western standards, but that is changing fast. To understand what’s really going on — and what it might mean for the country’s politics — we need to look under the hood of America’s apparent secularisation.

The key fact which is ignored is that there are millions of Americans who used to be regular churchgoers, but who have now stopped.

On Friday, the International Assistance Mission (IAM) confirmed that the Taliban had detained the American worker and 18 others after the radical group stormed its offices in Ghor, just 400 miles outside of Kabul.

Since the Taliban seized control of the country two years ago, NGOs have become a more significant threat. The group introduced harsh measures, banning Afghan women from education after the sixth grade and from public life and work— including working for NGOs.

Three members, including the American, were taken in the first raid, and the 15 others were taken ten days later.

The development, which comes as Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi prepares for a visit to New York City to address the U.N. General Assembly, adds a fresh layer to rising tensions over Tehran‘s nuclear activities.

In a rare statement, U.N. nuclear watchdog chief Rafael Grossi said Saturday that Iranian officials had informed him they will no longer permit certain International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors to conduct “essential verification work at the enrichment facilities in Iran which are under Agency safeguards.”

The U.S. military is being mocked online after a military base in South Carolina appealed to members of the public to help locate a missing F-35 fighter jet.

An F-35B Lightning II stealth fighter jet was "involved in a mishap" on Sunday, military officials based in Charleston, South Carolina, said in a post to social media.

The aircraft pilot "ejected safely and was transferred to a local medical center in stable condition," officials from Joint Base Charleston said on Sunday, adding it was working alongside the Marine Corps air base in Beaufort, S.C., to find the aircraft. "Emergency response teams are still trying to locate the F-35," officials said.

Treating cancer patients at the frontline, Prof. Dalgleish is shocked and dismayed by what he is seeing – and not just in his patients but in relatives and friends too. This includes rapidly growing and fulminating cancers, recurrences among people long cured or in remission from their cancers which, in some instances, had been gone 25 years or more. These cancers are occurring among vaccinated individuals, and in Prof. Dalgleish’s opinion are being triggered by booster injections.  In an interview with Dr. Tess Lawrie yesterday on Tess Talks, Prof. Dalgleish discussed this and what he is witnessing in his patients, family and friends.

Joe Biden and the Democratic politicians who abet him have ensured New York is awash with fentanyl and overwhelmed with an influx of illegal migrants.

A pill mill in a day-care center is just one of a myriad of ghastly outcomes that we can’t even foresee.

Since Joe Biden came to office and recklessly dismantled all Trump-era policies, at least 8 million illegals have taken him up on his invitation.
