Of Course Public Offices Are for Sale; The Church won’t survive another Covid scare....more

What happens if the American public calls out all this rampant corruption?  Why, the Marxist globalists in control of the federal government just send out the left's Antifa shock troops to burn down cities and threaten Americans into compliance.  As 2020's summer of mass destruction proved, government-sanctioned domestic terrorists are not only celebrated but also rewarded with payouts should local police get in their way.  Leftist nonprofits pay for violence that the government seeks, and politicians reward those nonprofits with government spending.  And should American victims object, the Federal Bureau of Intimidation pays a visit.

After all, few institutions have suffered more from the botched Covid response than Christian churches. Already, attendance was declining steadily, but the drop became precipitous after churches shut down and stopped hosting services for so many months in 2020. Even when they reopened, significantly fewer people returned. Evidently, many regular church attenders decided to stay home on Sundays permanently, or they joined the new cults of the time and lit candles for St. Fauci and St. George Floyd.

I remember when this all happened. The churches closed during Lent and stayed that way during Eastertide. My wife gave birth to our youngest daughter at the beginning of April, when the country was officially locked down for 30 days. While sitting with her sleeping on my lap, I would watch Bishop Barron celebrate Mass on my laptop (I figured that since his documentaries were so good, maybe his live-streamed Mass would be good too). Since it didn’t include the Eucharistic liturgy, the whole thing was only about 20 minutes long—four readings, some prayers, and a sermon.

I did this for a few Sundays before giving up. It just felt empty.

What the heck is “negative effectiveness,” you may well ask? The term means that those who have received the product are more likely to develop COVID than those who have not been injected. And there are suggestions in the data that the period of time between injection and “negative effectiveness” is getting shorter.

Even if the “vaccine” products have zero rather than negative effectiveness, they certainly have toxicity risks, so why would anyone be willing to receive these products if they knew this?

The “vaccinated” are at higher risk for developing COVID than the unvaccinated. So the “vaccinated” need more “vaccines.” So the “vaccinated” need more “vaccines.” So they can become at yet higher risk for COVID (and other infectious diseases)? Somehow the Joseph Heller WW-II book Catch-22 comes to mind.

Last month, Adams said that the city was spending about $300 million a month on the crisis, which is more than the $256 million Chicago — the destination of choice for just under 40,000 migrants — plans to spend by the end of the year, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

Adams, who said the crisis could cost $12 billion over the next three years while warning of an impending “financial tsunami,” and other local pols said the massive bill will soon put the city in a dire crisis.

There’s the quiet part out loud: A mom or dad who opts not to indulge their child in mental illness, who uses the child’s given name, prohibits the use of puberty blockers, or discourages sterilizing hormones or surgery could lose the child not only to the other parent, which is egregious enough — but to the state.

The male gynecologist Victor Acharian, medically trained to treat women, refused to examine a transsexual saying that it was beyond his professional expertise. “I only treat real women,” the physician told the French TV channel Euronews. “I don’t know how to treat [transsexuals] and I don’t mind being called ignorant.”

The doctor’s polite yet principled stance angered the transsexual and his partner, who accused him of being a “transphobe.”

The death toll following Libya's devastating floods has soared to 11,300, with more than 10,000 still missing.
A major dam collapse washed a 10ft deep torrent of water through the eastern city of Derna on Sunday - wiping out everything in its path.

But over the years, I started to notice a leftward drift at Christianity Today. From articles about “creation care” that weren’t much different from the rhetoric of the believers in another environmental phrase that contains two words that start with the letter C to heavily featuring and advocating for women in pastoral roles (ignoring millions of complementarian Christians across the world), Christianity Today started to sound more politically and theologically liberal.
