MIT: Jewish students say 'bounties' are offered for their IDs; Tens of Thousands of Migrants in Mexico Trying to Catch a Train to Border...more

MIT blasted for failing to act on antisemitism as Jewish students say  'bounties' are offered for their IDs  A blistering letter signed by hundreds of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) alumni has rebuked the school for fostering a “national reputation for antisemitism” as Jewish students claim “bounties” are offered by Pro-Palestine groups for identifying them.

The document, signed by more than 700 MIT Jewish alumni and allies, accused the school of failing to condemn Kornbluth for not taking enough action against antisemitism following her testimony on Capitol Hill last week.

Rather than recognize the rot that permeates these schools, it appears their officials want to maintain and even strengthen it. Their goals are no longer teaching but pushing Marxist racist policies, in all things, even if that means favoring terrorist organizations like Hamas, while allowing harassment and violence against Jews.

Worse, these schools are not the exception, but the rule across all of academia. If you care to look, you will find it difficult to find any university today that doesn’t have a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion office. You also will find that they all practice racial discrimination in hiring, admissions, and even grading, and that teaching intellectural rigor has been replaced with empty Marxist slogans.

A major house-cleaning is necessary. It must begin first with parents and high school students nationwide, who must reject these schools as options. It must then continue with the business community, who must either reject graduates from these schools, or rate them of lower quality.

US Boy, 13, Charged After Allegedly Plotting A Mass Shooting At Synagogue  A 13-year-old boy is facing criminal charges for allegedly planning a mass shooting at a synagogue in Ohio, the New York Post reported. According to court documents, the teenager was allegedly devising a plan to ''complete a mass shooting'' at Temple Israel in Canton, Ohio in September. He posted detailed plans of the attack on Discord, a messaging platform popular among gamers.
The boy's alleged plot was discovered on September 1 after Discord reported the teenager to the FBI. The investigation led to the teenager's arrest.
"Discord's Counter-Extremism analysts proactively detected, removed, and reported this user to the FBI's National Threat Operations Center, which is what led to the user's arrest. We have a zero-tolerance policy against hate and violent extremism, and when we see it, we take immediate action. It is a top priority for Discord to ensure a safe experience for our users," John Redgrave, Discord's vice president of trust & safety, said in a statement to ABC News.

Video Shows Tens of Thousands of Migrants in Mexico Trying to Catch a Train to Border   Officials are also releasing “over 5,000 illegal immigrants” each day. The number does not include “the 1,600 migrants who arrived at ports of entry and are being processed and released via the use of humanitarian parole each day under the CBP One app.”

The number does not include the gotaways, which are people sighted by law enforcement but, as the name implies, got away. Who know how many people came through the border patrol did not see.

The encountered migrants came from over 150 countries, including over 190 Chinese nationals in the San Diego sector and over 150 Guinea nations in the Tucson sector.

AI Finally Developed a Feature So Advanced You Might Mistake It for Human  Think about that for a moment. The folks at OpenAI are some of the best at what they do, but not even they can predict what their tool will do, even as they're fine-tuning it to make it more predictable.

On reflection, it might be that unpredictability is really our most human trait — and one that ChatGPT has possessed since Day One.

Oslo’s E-Bus Fleet Could Use Some Warming…City Paralyzed as Buses “Break Down” Due To Cold  The city of Oslo took delivery of 183 new electric buses last April with the aim of becoming “emissions-free”. But instead the city has become mobility free. What looked good on paper, didn’t work out well in reality.
“The range of the electric buses decreases drastically in the cold. The batteries run out more quickly,” according to sources. “…with the onset of winter, the weaknesses of the electric vehicles are becoming apparent: although a range of 250 kilometers is actually advertised, the buses sometimes simply break down.”
It’s reported that the contract volume for the buses was 100 million euros.

COVID Nurse Exposes Deadly Hospital Protocols
So, in my community when COVID was first announced and they locked down the hospitals and they stopped the elective surgeries, our hospital completely emptied out and this was one of the this was when I really first saw that we were being lied to because the public was being told in the news that the hospitals were full and overwhelmed and they weren’t.
I had colleagues all over the state of California who worked in units all over the hospital in the acute care setting and not once during that first year of COVID in 2020 in the winter of 2021 were our hospitals overwhelmed.
I would say there was during the winter of 2020 and 2021 when this happens every year, people come in with the flu and hospitals fill. It happens every year.
