Which Way, Western Man? Satanic Idols or Christian Morality?  Evil is pervading and corrupting the West — from pornography and 1,000 different stripes of sexual deviancy to contraception and the horrors of the abortion chamber. Consent-based libertarian ethics will not stem the tide. Moral relativism is what has led to the domination of America by perverse, radical agendas; clinging to that methodology will only result in the death of the nation’s soul. The quaint idea of saying, “I have my morality, which is different than yours, so let’s create a neutral space so that ne’er the twain shall meet,” has been tried and has failed. It has failed because the leftist ideology takes no quarter. If a vacuum is created, leftism will fill it and still maintain an appetite for expansion.

Conservatives and, perhaps more to the point, Christians face a choice: whether to reclaim civilization and base its laws on objective, absolute moral good or to kid themselves that they’re making a shrewd compromise while everything they hold dear is suppressed, shattered, and stripped away. Liberty is a fine thing, but it’s not something the ideologies antithetical to the West do or will respect. They will use it to seek and gain ascendancy and then pry it from the cold, dead fingers of the fools they conquer. Unless someone stands up against them.

'DEI programs in the tech industry are in broad retreat'  Critical Race Theory offshoot “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” captured and imprisoned most of academia and many corporations in the aftermath of George Floyds death.

It was a frenzy to virtue signal and throw money at …. well that was the problem. What exactly were they trying to fix? The DEI industrial complex, fueled by tens of billions of dollars, had no actual solutions. I have argued endlessly that DEI makes things worse by focusing on group identity rather than individual merit, by setting groups against each other in zero-sum games, and by demoralizing and demeaning the very people (loosely, ‘non-whites’) DEI purported to help. And it is now widely recognized that the oppressor-opressed false narrative pushed by many if not most DEI programming is a leading contributor and instigator of antisemitism.

Can anyone point to any measurable accomplishment of the billions of dollars spend on DEI? And by accompishment, I don’t mean job creating for a DEI bureaucracy that adds zero economic value.

DEI Resistance Is Advancing    

The next time you are trying to find a surgeon, will you pick the one who was licensed because she was the right minority or the one who earned her position the old-fashioned way? Now substitute auto mechanic and electrician for surgeon. How do you respond? And do you want your favorite basketball team to be comprised of players of various ethnicities and genders, or the team that had the best damned players money could buy?

Syracuse prof claims critiques of Claudine Gay are rooted in bigotry against black women Jenn Jackson, an assistant professor of political science at Syracuse, called criticisms of Claudine Gay’s scholarship 'attacks on Critical Race Theory and Black women academics.'  On Dec. 17, Jackson wrote on X that, 'Black people (like Indigenous people) cannot be racist against white people.'

Education isn’t the priority in public schools. Competing agendas are  Are students, particularly high school students, believing that their academic performance is irrelevant because the “government” will take care of their debts, health care, food, lodging and more? Are they succumbing to popular culture’s image of school as being useful only as a place to meet to plan weekend parties?

All I feel is fury at the bankruptcy of academia decades ago  To fix academia today is no longer doable, without throwing out the baby with the bath water. It is so poisoned with these ideas — from faculty to administration — that it is difficult to imagine a simple fix. Simply cleaning out the Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity departments will accomplish little, because all other departments are now run by professors and administrators who buy into this empty ideology and will enforce it regardless.

Instead, it appears that the entire system has to be dumped, a drastic action with consequences so terrible it is hard to imagine. No civilization can prosper if it doesn’t have a viable education system. We don’t have one now, but we can no longer reform it, which means we need to rebuild from the bottom up, a task that will take many decades. In the interim all society will be plunged into a dark age of ignorance, foolishness, and ruin.
